This
workshop introduced students to a few basic steps that can be used
when creating comics or comic characters.
By
being partners with the local library headquarters, we were able
to get the word out successfully to area art teachers.

students participated ranging from middle to high school-aged. Many
were fans of comics, manga and anime.
The
students were introduced to five basic steps that help in the building
of characters as well as comics pages. They were also given the web
addresses of schools in and out of their local areas that have good
art programs, especially those that teach classes geared toward sequential
art.
