"The drawing is of the Archangel Michael standing on the mountains of Israel. His 'wings' are really his prayer shawl. The word for one of the tassels on the prayer shawl is ' Tzitzit'. It can mean tassel, a fore-lock of hair or a wing-like projection. In the story of the women with the issue of blood, when she took a hold of the tassel on Jesus' robe it was a litaral fulfillment of that passage in Scripture that says that 'the Sun of Righteousness will come with healing in his wings."
