Just put up the setlists for the last two shows at New College. Had a great time. No plans for more shows just yet, but you never know...

1-7-03

Reunion setlists are up... CD's are still available in the catologue section. There has been some talk lately about a possible section TCR reunion at Graduation PCP again this year. more on this as it develops...

7-9-02

Well, sure has been a while since there've been any updates around here (or traffic, probably.) but for the sake of tradition, and accurate record keeping, i figured i'd add the setlists from the TCR Reunion(s). Just waiting on Pat to send them over. A good time was had by all. Maybe some day we can do it all again. I love you band and I love you New College. Thanks for the good times. Adios. -Chris

Added an 'about The band' animation. It is very large and may take a long time to load. Please be patient. As you also may have noticed, the introduction animation for the page is gone. It is currently growing dusty in the TCRchives.

Open for business! The TCR catologue now includes a working online order form. Our CD - The Origin Of The Source is available, as well as Olis - music at the speed of breathing and various other products are available. There are two types of payment currently accepted - 1.) Paypal, a common way to send money online, and 2.) Check or money order, sent the old fashion way- through the mail. Right now we've got a deal going on where you can get the TCR cd and the Olis cd, plus 10 free TCR stickers and 10 Olis stickers for $11. That's just $1 more than the TCR cd by itself. So take a look and take advantage of our eagerness to move some of these cds. If you have any trouble ordering, please let us know.

Ian is really very funny.
Chris is really very hard working. (Our new links page)
The Catologue section is growing quickly, hopefully pretty soon we will actually be able to handle online orders. For now, just write emails to [email protected].

We are happy to announce the release of our CD, "The Origin Of The Source" tomorrow at the 47th St. House Graduation Celebration. The CD features 12 original tracks recorded in the New College studio and at Full Sail in Orlando. The party starts at 10 pm and TCR will play at 10:30. CD's are $5 and will be available throughout the evening as well as during our PCP performance, at 3 AM in Lake Shipp.

5-10-01

We had a successful session in the studio in Orlando last weekend, the results of which will be appearing on our upcoming CD, which should be finished just in time for Graduation PCP. Three TCR songs are now available at Ampcast.com/TCR. We are making plans now for two final shows - one at the 47th St. House on Thurs May 24th, and one the following night at Graduation PCP. We will not be playing before PCP, we will be playing a 3:00am set in Lake Ship. Come on by and we'll all dance until the dawn one more time...

4-18-01

TCR appears on the new Brownstone compilation "At The Brownstone". CD's are available online at MP3.com and at the Brownstone Cafe.

Chris Mitchell's solo album Music At The Speed Of Breathing is now available at all TCR performances or by sending an email to [email protected]. The CD is 7 tracks of music written, performed and recorded by Chris Mitchell, under the name Olis. The cost is $5.

We have completed several tracks for our album, and have some studio time scheduled next weekend in Orlando. This CD should be completed by early May and will feature all you TCR favorites.

2-3-01

Back in effect now for semester 2..... We played last night at the Landingstrip Lounge at the Ramada. Thanks to everyone who came out, hopefully this will become a weekly thing, New College Night every Friday (with those same 50 cent drafts) where we can rotate in different bands and music every week. Look for more on that coming up soon... We are playing this at the Crucial BBQ today at around 6:00. We've gotten to work on getting an album recorded and things are coming along on that... No real idea when that will be done though... Hope to see everyone this Friday at Ramada. Possibly *POP* will be playing and more bluegrass with Gregg and his "High As A Kite String Band."

12-14-00

Well we played our last show of the semester and now it is Christmas Break. Thanks to *POP* for playing the show with us at the Brownstone. For those of you who left before they played, you missed out on some good tunes and some sexy deep-voiced singing by the lovable Rob Ward. We look foward to playing with them again soon... Come January TCR will be working day and night to finish our album by the end of ISP. We just finished up one track off it- Attack Of The Mucus Men, which will probably appear on our mp3.com page sometime in the next few days. The CD should have about 15 tracks or so, and will of course feature all you favorites... so save some of that Christmas money... There are no shows scheduled for right now, but we will probably fill in a few dates for ISP, which will appear in our lovely Schedule Section. Hopefully I will be making a few more changes to the site over the next few weeks, including some TCR Stats (ooooOooOOooOOHHHH!!!) and maybe some new animation... Well, hope everyone is having a wonderful Holiday and we'll see you back at the ranch in Jan.

11-7-00

10-26-00

Looks like the funk of forty thousand years will remain locked up for at least one more year. We will not be playing PCP this Saturday, because Brian dislocated his shoulder again playing that God-forsaken game of devils, Capoiera. Everything should be fine and still on for the show next week at Cafe Kaldi. Come out and support this newly re-opened coffeeshop downtown.

10-20-00

Looks like we will not be able to play the late night PCP spot, because of security issues. We will be playing either at 7:00 or 9:30, once we work things out with the other band. We will also be playing New College Day at Caples, sometime in the afternoon. We are going to be selling CD's of our performance at Valentine's Day PCP last year for the price of the blank CD (probably $1 or $2.) They should be ready by Saturday. We might also throw in some Halloween goodies... Hope to see everyone out there this weekend.

10-11-00

Basically right now we have some time off between shows which we are devoting to writing new material, recording a demo, putting together a better website, and printing up T-shirts. We are making plans for Halloween PCP, hoping to play a late night set (2 or 3 am until whenever) in one of the lounges, but it is looking more like we will be in our traditional pre-PCP time slot. More on this as it comes together...
