PHAM VAN NGU, Ly Huong Premo's Father, died in 1996 at his home in AP(Hamlet) TuanHoa, Go Cong, TienGiang Province, Vietnam. He had CAO DAI (Vietnamese) prayer services conducted at his home; there were a total of eleven prayer services, the last one conducted on 27 October 1997. Now his spirit is free to ascend to heaven. This service was attended by Minh_TÔM and Ly-Huong Premo during their their trip in 1997 VNTrip3. Minh_TÔM attended the DAM GIO 'Death Day' Ceremony for Pham Van Ngu (BAY) on 28Feb04 (9th Day of Second Month of LUNAR Calendar); see PHOTO.

Minh-TÔM wears a Buddah pendant that was given to him by his father-in-law, Pham Van Ngu, which was carved from a wild boar's tusk and it seems to bring him luck. He wears the Buddah pendant all of the time; the last time that he didn't wear it was just before Christmas, 1979 and Minh_TÔM had a stroke!
