For all you newbies to my site--"joudama scribbling" is where all my fanfic is. It'll take you to a new website, since Geocities hates me sucking up bandwidth. Go fig. "Words on the Page" is the more "you definitely went to a liberal arts school" section--essays on manga as well as the translations of manga that I've managed to do. *happy grin* But I am working hard on adding more manga to what's been done, and I plan to be far more regular with updating the translate page, honest.
What's new:
No, no new FmL, but I did squeeze out a quick little ficlet while gfighting off the EVIL COLD I picked up in Tokyo that ruined the last few days of my vacation. Le sigh. Anyway, here you are. Wake Me Light, a Hikaru no Go fanfic. [5/5/03]
NEW FREEZE MY LOVE! *g* See, toldja it'd be less than a month! Chapter III - Wo.de I ~ni.de i is done.[2/21/03]
A new essay for Think! Since it was posted today on The Fanfic Symposium, I decided I ought to put it on my page, too. So here it is, Because We Love Our Gods: Mythoi, Logoi, and Real People Slash.[2/5/03]
Tokyo Roadkill returns. If you want to see the memorial for the Columbia, please click here.[2/3/03]
A new essay for Think! So, here you all are, my current pet theory as to why (some) straight women like slash and yaoi.[1/28/03]
NEW FREEZE MY LOVE! Finally! So, that said, the Touya Annex is done. I have also finished formatting Wo.de I ~ni.de i as well. I have to re-read over them, since I need to tighten some of the prose. Anyway, expect the last chapter of part one within the next three weeks. Max.[1/24/03]
Nothing really major, just an update--I've finished the Touya annex and sent it off to beta readers. They have one day to get back to me before me and my short attention span say "Screw it!" and post it. Also, I found a hard copy of FmL, and have started retyping it, since God only KNOWS when I'll actually get my files from my friend, if ever. So with any luck, this week or next should see the posting of two FmL sections--the last of the Hearth Annexes, and...Wo.de ~ni.de! Woot! Oh, yeah, and I redid the translation of the song "Freeze My Love" in the random-text thing on the main FmL page. Plus, I have started working on a Shirahime-syo inspired fic cycle called "Winter Tales" which should be available around the end of the month. [1/06/03]
While stalling doing my Japanese homework, I created...link buttons! (Well, stalling, and I wanted to play with Photoshop 7.0, which rocks my universe, just so you know) So, if you want to link to my site, feel free to use any of the nine, count 'em, nine buttons I've made! And is just a link button to FmL, if you only care about the fic I CAN'T WORK ON BECAUSE MY STUPID FRIEND HASN'T SENT ME MY FILES YET AND I'M STARTING TO LOSE MY TEMPER ABOUT IT and not the rest of my site, please, feel free to use it, since I think it's easily the best of all the link buttons.[1/05/03]
So, I added new, cool stuff. Like, a webforum. And a guestbook that doesn't suck. And a mailing list!
Check it out.[12/11]

This many people have come to my site since I discovered my bandwidth was being
eaten up and so Geocities wants to charge me money:
