Crafting with toddlers and preschoolers doesn't have to be a chore. It really is about letting the kids be creative and develop skills every time they pick up a brush, crayon or paste. If it is the mess you find difficult to deal with, prepare an area where they can create and worry about cleaning up later. They'll enjoy their time and you'll see the result in their work.

Here's a list of items that are useful to have in your craft cupboard. Replenish as needed. Remember the 3 R's of recycling too, so don't throw away all of your used items.
Hint: By keeping items organized in plastic boxes it will make it easier to find the things you need as well as help you get inspired to be crafty the next time the kids feel the itch to create.
