For my mind, there just aren't enough songs which
explore the tragic mating rituals of the orb-weaver
spider, the male of which always dies during the kinky
spider-sex. The admirable fact that he would rather
die than not cop a root isn't lost on TISM. In fact,
this story of altruism has an odd, albeit slightly
creepy, endearing quality to it. But TISM aren't all
about the joke - 'this is serious', after all. And
goddammit, if this doesn't get you up off your
bar-stool, moving your body in such a way that
vindicates the fact that you are unashamedly screaming
"everyone else has had more sex than me!!", then
nothing will.
