I'm not going to do a biography on John, there are many sites you can go too to read all about him. I want to do this page in his honour. This year , is 25 years since his death. The death of a hero as far as I'm concerned. John wasn't one to hold back if he had something to say. And he had a lot to say about many things. He was the very best Beatle in my eyes. Though I never could get my head around WHY he needed to do drugs ? It was then that I went off the BEATLES. I went off the style of music they started doing. But I still liked John, George and Ringo. Don't mention Paul to me !!!! We are not to question why people do things, we all have our cross to bear. John will always be remembered by me for his music, wit and charm. The early Beatle days are my fondest memories of him. Plus his last albums. He was sometimes miss-understood, for example, his referance to the Beatles being more popular than Jesus in the sixties. Well, he was right, if Jesus was as popular among the kids of the sixties, the Churches would have been full to overflowing. I knew what he meant. I'm sure a lot of you do to. He did NOT mean they were more important than Jesus. As some try to make out. He was taken from us in a terrible way. But so is life, and John's time was up. His assassin saw to that. Some of his music is beautiful. Thanks for that John. You will always be remembered.
