Im so happy for you guys, Antoinette stated. You deserve each other. It was a month before Brian and Rachels wedding and everyone who was anybody was at a local Orlando pizza shop partying. It was sort of an engagement party for the couple since they never officially had one and it was open to the public to give their congratulations. Thank you, Toni, Brian said. It means a lot to us. Im hoping you and Justin can be as happy as we are, Rachel replied. Im hoping too, Antoinette said, as the three of them laughed. Did you see Loni? Rachel asked. I need to see if her dress fit. I thought you already took care of that? Brian asked. The guy at the shop got the measurements wrong and made the dress too big, Rachel replied. So it had to get altered. Oh, Brian said. The last I saw Lon she was with Nick, Antoinette replied. And kissing in the corner. Shouldve known, Rachel said, as Justin approached. Hey, beautiful, Justin said giving Antoinette a kiss. Theyre playing our song. He started singing, You say its been too longsince you had somejust say I turn you onlike the fire thats burnin insideyou think that Im the oneyou see in your dreams And you want to dance, Antoinette interrupted him Is that so much to ask? Justin asked. Of course not, Antoinette stated. Excuse us. Your song is Jordan Knights Give It To You? Rachel asked. Yeah, Justin and Antoinette said walking away, as Rachel shook her head. Theyll be as happy as us, Brian said. Yeah in the bedroom, Rachel rebutted chuckling, as Joshua walked by. Hey, JC, Brian said stopping him. Whats up, man? Joshua asked. Did you see Lon and Nick? Rachel questioned. I saw them go out back, Joshua said. Thanks, Brian said and Joshua walked away. So that means they want to have some quality time together. He got out his cell phone. What are you doing? Rachel asked. Watch and learn, Baby. He started dialing. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Valondra and Nickolas stood outback by his truck kissing. No one was around to interrupt them so they just continued. After a few minutes, Nickolas cell phone started ringing. Just ignore it, Valondra said between kisses. Theyll call back. It could be important, Loni, Nickolas stated. If it is theyll call back. True. They continued kissing and the phone continued ringing. But I still cant help but wonder. Valondra stopped the kiss and sighed. She looked at Nickolas and reached in his pocket. Ooh, Lon, what are you doing? Valondra pulled out his phone and turned it on. Hello? No one answered. Hello. Anyone there? Still no answer. She turned it off and looked at Nickolas. No one was even there. What was the number? It said restricted. So maybe it wasnt important. They put their arms around each other again. But I know something that is. He kissed her. For the next minute they kissed until his phone started ringing again. It must be important. Valondra turned the phone on and practically yelled, This better be important. No one answered. Hello? Again no answer. I can hear you breathing so you better answer. Still nothing. Why dont you stop with the games and grow the fuck up. She went to turn the phone off and Nickolas took it from her. So ya know, I have your number and I have the connections to find out where you live so be advised that I will get you for harassment and you will be hearing from my attorney. He heard a click and then turned off his phone. I think I scared them. Good. He put his phone back in his pocket. People need to get new hobbies. But I like the one I have. He kissed her. I didnt mean you. I wouldnt change my hobby if my life depended on it. And I would never give you up. I would die if I lost you. I love you so much. I love you. They kissed again and the phone rang. Valondra took it out of his pocket and went to turn it on, but Nickolas took it from her. What? She watched, as Nickolas turned the phone off and stuck it back in his pocket. He put his arms around Valondra. Where were we? Valondra just smiled, as he kissed her. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Did you find Lon yet? Lillie asked. Not yet, Rachel replied. This is a great party, Brian pointed out. Thanks. No problem, Howard said. What are friends for? Charisma and Alexander walked by and Howard took his gaze off the soon-to-be-married couple and stuck it on Charisma. He watched as she kissed Alexander. Lillie interrupted him, by saying, Earth to Howie. Right before Howard looked away from Charisma; she looked at him and smiled. Howard looked at Lillie and said, What? Where did you just go? Lillie asked. Howard looked at her then back at Charisma. He smiled and said, No where, Sweetie. He kissed her. Brian, lets dance, Rachel said. Excuse us. Howie, Lillie began, did you ever think about us getting married? Howard just looked at her, as Alyssa and Kevin approached. Howard was relieved he didnt have to answer the question right away. Enjoying the party? Kevin asked. Of course, Howard said. There are so many beautiful women here tonight, Alexander interrupted. And only one me. Excuse me, Charisma said. But of course there is only one special girl here for me, Alexander replied. And her names Charisma. Thats better, Charisma said kissing him and they laughed. Hes whipped, Alyssa stated, as they all laughed again except for Alexander. Shes kidding, Alex, Charisma assured him. Dont take it serious. Im not, Alexander said, looking at the front entrance. Oh my God. What is it? Kevin asked looking in the direction Alexander was and the girls looked also. Uh oh. The girls looked at each other confused. Brian! Brian looked and Kevin pointed to the door. Brian stopped dancing and he and Rachel joined the others. CHAPTER 2 HOME |
