�I�m staying because I love and I�m not going in there without you.�
�Well I�m staying right here.�
�No you�re not.� He grabbed her and pulled her from the limousine.
�Get your fucking hands off me!� She tried pushing him away, but it didn�t work and she did the most kiddish thing ever; kicked him in the shins and he left her go.
�Damn it, Dakota!� She got back in the limousine and locked the doors. �Open the door, DJ.�
�Go away.�
�What the hell is your problem? I apologized continuously for today and you still have a stick up your ass. Are you ragging it or what?�
�I�ll ignore that remark.�
�Am I going to have to break into song?� She didn�t say anything and then heard a door open. She looked and saw the divider window go down. She saw Nickolas and looked away. �Shorty?� She didn�t look at him or say anything and wiped her eyes. Nickolas sighed and cleared his throat to sing,�Don�t want to close the door/don�t want to give up on it/don�t want to fight no more/we�ll find a way around it/where�s the love we had?/ we can make it last/tell me what I got to be/tell me what you want to do/�cause I can�t live my life/the way you want me to/you know I can�t go on living like we do/do I have to cry for you?� He looked at her and waited for a response and got nothing from her. �Fine.� He sighed disgustedly and reached into his pocket. �I�ll just stay here and you can go back to the hotel�alone. If this is how you want to spend Valentine�s Day then this is how we�ll spend Valentine�s Day.� He put the black box on the backseat. �Happy Valentine�s, Dakota.� He put the divider back up and Dakota looked. She heard a door shut and reached over and picked up the box.
Dakota just looked at the box a moment before opening it. She sighed and slowly opened the box. A piece of paper fell out, but she didn�t bother with it and looked at the piece of jewelry; a Hugs and Kisses bracelet. She grinned and took the bracelet from the box. She saw the same bracelet the other day with Nickolas. She wiped her eyes and picked up the paper. She unfolded it and read; I want to thank you for all the things you�ve done/but most for choosing me to be the one/it�s funny how life can take new meaning/you came and changed what I believe in/the world on the outsides trying to pull me in/but they can�t touch me �cause I got you.She sat there a moment, as the tears went down her cheeks and then got out of the limousine. She walked to the front door, of the cottage Nickolas got for them, and slowly opened it. She slowly walked inside and looked around. Candles were lit all around, rose petals were all over the floor, and she saw Nickolas by the fireplace. She closed the door and Nickolas looked.
�Hey.� She grinned and he just looked at her, as she walked over to him. �I�m sorry.� She hugged him and he hugged her in return, but didn�t say anything. She felt his tears on her neck and it brought new tears of her own. �I don�t mean to push you away, Baby. I�m just afraid of the worse that can happen to us.� More tears just came from her eyes.
�Shh.�
�It�s not like it was before between us and I�m scared that we�re going to end.�
�We�re not going to end.�
�How can you be so sure? You�re always doing your music thing and now I�m off doing movies and stuff.�
�My love for you is sure.� They looked at each other. �I love you and nothing will change that�ever. Things have been off a lot lately, but my love for you is as strong as ever.�
�I love you too.� He kissed her and they hugged for a few minutes. �Thank you for the bracelet.�
�You�re welcome.� They looked at each other again. �Not only did I get it for you, because you wanted it, but it�s something you can look at when you�re in Seattle and miss me.� She smiled. �Well miss my hugs and kisses.�
�I�m sure it�ll hold me over.� He smiled. �This place looks nice.�
�Thought of it myself. I got us this place so we could be alone and have no interruptions.� She looked around.
�It�s really beautiful.�
�But not as beautiful as you.� She looked at him. �Are you hungry?�
�No.�
�Earlier you were.�
�Well I�m not anymore.� She grinned and led him over to the sofa. They sat down and he wrapped his arms around her.
He took his hands up her arms and said, �Goosebumps?� She just grinned and shrugged. �I remember the first time I touched you and the goosebumps you got.�
�Well they went away in your truck then.�
�No they didn�t.�
�I think so.�
�I was the one touching you so I would know.�
�You only wish you gave girls goosebumps when you touch them.�
�I give you goosebumps.� She shook her head. �Yeah.�
�I remember the first time you touched me.� He smiled. �You made me feel so good. I actually believed love was real. I always thought it was only in fairytales.�
�Well love is real and it�s happening between us.� She looked at him and smiled. �And I couldn�t be happier.� He kissed her nose and smiled. �And I wouldn�t mind if it went on all night either.� She grinned and then sighed.
�As tempting as it sounds I just don�t know.�
�Why not?�
�We�ve been practically fighting this whole time and��
�And making up is the best part.� He smirked and pulled her onto his lap. �They say never go to bed mad.�
�I ain�t mad.�
�If ya say so.�
�Besides, even if we did go to bed it�s not like we�d be sleeping anyway if you have your way.�
�You know what I like.� He kissed her neck and she just sat there with a little grin. �What I really like.�
�That�s nice, but I don�t think Valentine�s Day is about sex.�
�It�s about sharing your love and that�s what I want us to do�all night.� He kissed her. �Share our love until the sun comes up.�
�And only you will get the most enjoyment.�
�So will you whether you admit it or not.� He got up off the sofa and laid her on the carpet.
�Bear skin?�
�Faux of course.� She smiled. �I�ve only been thinking about romance today.� She just nodded and he kissed her again.
