�Great,� Kendra said putting her gun away, as Nickolas opened the door and went out. �Another Club Z tramp.� She sighed and looked as the patio door opened. She saw Jenai close the door and walk to the kitchen. She walked to the kitchen and Jenai looked at her over the top of the water bottle. �Do you actually believe your skimpy outfits and showing off your body is going to get Nick into bed?�
�Do you?� Jenai asked.
�Detective Carter has a job to do and he doesn�t have time to get involved with anyone.�
�You mean with me.�
�It�s not allowed.�
�Ditto.� The two girls glared at each other, as the others walked in.
�JJ, hey,� Dannika said.
�Hey,� Jenai said not taking her gaze off Kendra. �How was your flight?�
�I slept through the whole thing so it was good,� Dannika replied.
�Good,� Jenai said.
�Is everything all right in here?� Nickolas asked noticing the glare Jenai was giving Kendra.
�Everything�s fine,� Jenai said looking at Nickolas.
�Yeah,� Nickolas said.
�How�s it going?� Jakob asked.
�Fine,� Jenai replied.
�That�s good,� Jakob said. Jenai just looked at him and went and sat on the sofa. �Is everything ok with her?�
�You have to ask her,� Nickolas said.
�The rooms are that way,� Jenai said pointing. �The first two on the left.�
�I�ll get your stuff,� Nickolas said to Dannika and picking up her suitcases.
�Thanks,� Dannika said and Nickolas walked away. The three guys walked back the hall and Dannika sat next to Jenai. �So how�s it going with Nick?�
�It�s going I guess,� Jenai said.
�Like I said,� Kendra began, �it�s not allowed.�
�Don�t you have someone to sleep with?� Jenai questioned and Dannika grinned. �Maybe you can get some money from the guards outside.�
�Maybe you can,� Kendra said. �I hear you Club Z dancers do more than dance for those men.�
�Who told you that?� Dannika asked.
�I have my sources,� Kendra stated.
�Who? That replacement dancer Rose Harris?� Dannika questioned. �Her other occupation is prostitution, but I�m sure you already knew that.� She smiled and so did Jenai.
�Are you forgetting I have a badge?� Kendra asked. �I can cuff you both right now and take you back to L.A. and not care.�
�You put cuffs on me I promise I�ll give you a reason not to have sex again,� Jenai warned and Kendra just glared at them, as the guys rejoined them.
�You got the second room on the left,� Nickolas said to Dannika and sitting next to her.
�Thanks, Nick,� Dannika said and he smiled.
�So how does it feel being back here?� Jakob asked putting his arm around Jenai, but she just shrugged him off and he looked at her.
�It�s cool,� Jenai said. �How�s Janie?�
�She�s good,� Jakob said. �She says �hi�.� Jenai nodded and got up and they watched her go back outside.
�Is she dancing or doing her martial arts?� Dannika asked.
�Dancing,� Nickolas replied.
�I think I�ll go change and join her,� Dannika stated getting up. �If ya�ll will excuse me.� They all nodded and she went back to the bedroom.
�So how are things in L.A.?� Nickolas asked.
�Quiet since the shooting,� Jakob replied. �Kevin wanted Dani to come out here just to be safe.�
�Yeah well I don�t think it�s that safe here,� Nickolas stated.
�Why not?� Justin questioned.
�JJ got a phone call earlier,� Nickolas answered and looked at Jakob. �It was the guy that tried to kill her ten years ago.� Jakob just looked at him. �He told her he was going to finish the job he started ten years ago and Kevin can�t stop him.�
Jakob sighed and said,� I was afraid of this.�
�You have no idea who did this to her?� Justin asked.
�To be honest I was blind folded most of the time,� Jakob replied. �I never told Jenai that though. The only time it was off was when he raped and killed Brianna and Alexis. He made sure I couldn�t see his face.�
�But you�re sure JJ did?� Justin asked.
�Positive,� Jakob stated and Nickolas nodded.
�You boys are welcome to watch,� Dannika said and they looked. �Just as long as ya tip.� She smiled and opened the door and they heard Def Leppard�s Pour Some Sugar On Me� then she walked out, as the three guys laughed and shook their heads.
�Typical whores,� Kendra said and the guys looked at her.
�They�re two of the most amazing women I ever met,� Justin said.
�Didn�t I tell you to be nice or else you were going back to L.A.?� Nickolas said.
�You do have a hard on for the little tramp,� Kendra said and Nickolas shook his head in disgust. �What�s so special about her?�
�A lot,� Jakob said. �Besides� being the Sergeants sister.�
�Right,� Kendra said getting up. �Ya have to suck up to the boss.� She shook her head and they watched her walk out.

�Knock, knock,� Jakob said knocking on Jenai�s door and she looked. �May I come in?�
�So you can lie to me some more?� Jenai asked putting clothes in the closet. Jakob sighed and walked into the room.
�Nick just told me what you remembered and I�m sorry,� Jakob apologized.
�For what?� Jenai asked. �Me being raped? Or for lying to me all these years?�
�Both.� She stopped what she was doing and looked at him. �I was wrong for keeping what happened to you a secret.�
�You hurt me, Jakob, and I just�� She sighed. �Why didn�t you just tell me?�
�I was going to after you recovered from the gunshot.�
�But you didn�t.�
�No, because your parents thought it was best you didn�t know.� She shook her head. �I swear I wanted to tell you, JJ.�
�So why didn�t you? Why did you let me start dancing at Club Z knowing what happened to me?�
�Before you started at Club Z I was going to tell you, but after I seen how happy you were again about dancing I couldn�t ruin that for you. You finally found a little peace after Brianna and Alexis died and I couldn�t take that from you.�
�So you were thinking about my happiness.�
�Yes.�
�I think I understand.�
�No you don�t.�
�Then what do you want me to say? That I hate you for lying to me?�
�No, because I know you hate me.�
�I�m glad you do.�
�And I�ll understand that fact.� She nodded. �I never meant to hurt you by keeping the truth from you. I knew one day you were going to remember what happened and I always thought about telling you. When I wanted to tell you though you were always looking so happy and I could ruin that. I wouldn�t ruin it for you.�
She sighed and looked at him while saying, �You left me have sex with you and didn�t say a single word. How do you expect me to forgive you for that? I don�t think I can.�
�I don�t expect ya to.�
�I�m not going to, Jakob. I can�t forgive you for keeping this a secret from me. I want to, but I can�t.�
�I don�t blame you.� She just looked at him. �I just hope this doesn�t alter our relationship.� She grinned.
�I�d love to hate you completely, but I can�t find it in me.� He grinned. �We�ve been friends for so long and I can�t see us not being friends anymore.�
�Neither can I.� He walked over to her and they hugged. �I�m so sorry for keeping it a secret. You had a right to know and if I could do it over I�d tell you the truth.�
�I know you would.�
They continued hugging a few minutes and Jakob asked, �When did ya start confiding in Carter?�
�I needed someone to talk to and it was either him or Detective Morgan. I trust Nick and I can�t stand Kendra.�
�Her feelings are mutual towards you.�
�I know.� They looked at each other, as there was a knock.
�Sorry to interrupt,� Dannika apologized, �but Justin is done with dinner.�
�Ok,� Jakob said leaving Jenai go. �I�ll see ya out there.� He walked out and Dannika walked in.
�Is everything ok?� Dannika wanted to know. �You seemed upset earlier.�
�Everything�s ok,� Jenai replied. �It was just a misunderstanding between me and Jake. It�s all straightened out now.�
�That�s good to hear,� Dannika said and Jenai nodded.
�So what�d Justin make?�
�Spaghetti.� Jenai looked at her interested. �Spaghetti by moonlight.�
�Interesting,� Dannika smiled. �Leave it up to J.�
�He didn�t want to ruin the nice night.�
�It is a lovely night, ain�t it?� She looked out the window and Dannika joined her.
�A very lovely night.� They both smiled and there was a knock. They looked and saw Nickolas.
�You ladies coming?� Nickolas asked. �I don�t know about J and J, but I don�t want to have dinner with just Kendra. She keeps looking at me with these fuck me eyes and it�s starting to creep me out.� The two girls laughed. �It�s not funny since I ain�t attracted to her in anyway. She�s not JJ so I don�t want her.� He smiled at Jenai and Dannika shook her head.
�Keep it professional, Detective,� Jenai said walking over. �You�ll be out of a job.�
�And you�ll love it, because he won�t be a cop,� Dannika stated.
�Sounds good,� Jenai said walking out.
�She wants me,� Nickolas said.
�You only wish,� Dannika said smiling and pulling Nickolas along.
