It was three days after Sunshine�s 27th birthday and she sat alone on the condo balcony. She just sat there thinking about the past few months and how it was affecting her life. For the past two months, since she was released from the hospital, she didn�t do anything. All she did was sit around the house and then went on tour with the guys and did nothing. They had a few days off and she doing absolutely nothing.
Nickolas was right; she couldn�t spend the rest of her life like this. It wasn�t fair to her and definitely not fair to Nickolas. She wouldn�t even hardly leave Nickolas touch her which wasn�t fair either. He was being such a big help and she wasn�t showing her gratefulness in any kind of way towards him. He wasn�t doing anything either; he�d stay with her all the time. He�d rehearse then stay with her until it was time for the show. She was holding him back from doing what he loves. She couldn�t keep doing that to him and it was going to stop. She got up and went inside. She walked over to the phone as she heard the sound of Nickolas� guitar come from the hall. She just smiled and picked up the phone.
She dialed a number and waited three rings before she heard, �Hello?�
�Hey, Dani, it�s Sunn.�
�Hey, Sweetheart.�
�Oh, Howie, that�s enough.� They laughed.
�What can I do for ya?�
�I was just hoping you still wanted me to join ya�s tonight.�
�Yeah, if you�re feeling up to it.�
�Yes I am.�
�Great. Alright then. We�ll come by and pick ya up then.�
�What time?�
�Seven.�
�Ok. I�ll see ya then.�
�Great. Later.�
�Bye.� She hung up the phone and still heard the guitar. She walked back the hall and to the one room Nickolas made into his recording studio. She stood at the door and looked in at him, as he left out a disgusted grunt and stopped playing. He put the guitar and leaned back in the chair while taking his hands over his face. �Ya won�t get anywhere if ya keep quitting, Baby.� Nickolas looked and gave his sexy side smile.
�Get your ass over here,� Nickolas said and she walked over. He put her on his lap and kissed her. �I was hoping you�d soon come join me.�
�Really?�
�Yep, because I can work better when you�re around.� He smiled.
�That�s sweet.�
�Well, you�re sweet.�
She grinned. �So whatcha working on?�
�A new song for my new solo.�
�But you got that big pile over on the desk.�
�I know, but I don�t think they�re good as a solo.�
�I think they�d be great as anything.�
�You just try to make me feel good.�
�Always.� She kissed him. �I want you to go out with the guys tonight.�
�Why?�
�Because you can�t keep staying with me like this. It�s fantastic and I love ya for it, but you�re entitled to have fun.�
�I have fun with you.�
�But it�s not fair to you. I want you to have fun so go out with the guys tonight. I�ll even call Rok for ya and tell him to come pick ya up.�
�But I want to stay here with you.� He nuzzled her neck.
�But I ain�t going to be here.� He looked at her.
�Why not?�
�I took Danielle up on her offer and I�m going to hang with the girls tonight.�
�Why?�
�Because you�re right.� He raised an eyebrow. �I can�t spend the rest of my life like this. It ain�t fair to any of us. It�s been four long months and it�s time I get up off my ass and do something.�
�You can do something with me.� He smirked.
�But I really want to go out with the girls tonight.� He sighed. �It could be Bradley.�
�Why do you do this?�
�Do what?�
�Mention him when ya want to do something with the girls.�
�Because it�s the only way to do something when you throw a fit. Or unless I promise to let ya make love to me when I get back.� He smiled. �It ain�t fair.�
�Why not?�
�Because I don�t throw a fit when you want to go someplace.�
�No; you just really turn me on so I don�t go.� She grinned. �Which I should start doing to you.�
�It won�t work though.�
�Why not?�
�Because I won�t let it. I�ll just fight it like I�ve been doing.�
�But you do want it, right?�
�I ain�t ready, Nick.�
�Still?�
�I�m really sorry. I want to, but I�m just afraid I�ll end up pregnant again and go through the same shit.�
�Next time will be different.�
�You sound so certain.�
�Because I am.�
�I�ll take your word.� She grinned. �So call Rok and tell him you�ll go along.�
�But, but, but��
�No buts, mister; although ya got a nice one, because you�re going.� She reached for the phone and he stopped her from dialing numbers.
�I want to spend the night with you.� He kissed her and put his hand up her shirt. �I have plans for us.�
�That�s nice, but you�re going with your Boys.� She dialed Brian�s number, as Nickolas kissed her neck. �Stop it.� He just continued. �Please, Nicky.� She chuckled and heard a voice on the other end, as Nickolas continued kissing her. �Hey, Rok, it�s Sunn�I�m alright�yeah�Nick�s going to join ya tonight�yeah�I�m making him�I�m going out with your wife�I can�t stay inside forever�I�m going to be a good girl as always�yeah, well, I can�t keep hogging him�it�s fun, but I can�t�I have to share him.� She looked at Nickolas. �Stop it�no not you, Brian�he�s being a pig�I�ll give it to him alright�well I�m going to go�ok I�ll tell him�see ya.� She turned off the phone and looked at her husband.
�It�s about time.� He kissed her, putting his tongue in her mouth. He got up holding her and walked back to their bedroom. He laid her on the bed and got on top of her. He kissed her before she said anything and she put her arms around his neck. She ran her fingers through his hair and wrapped her legs around him. �Ya change your mind?�
�Not yet. Maybe by feeling you it will change my mind.�
�How about I change maybe to definitely? Would you like that?�
�I don�t know.�
�We can forget about going out and concentrate on us.� He put a light feathered kiss on her lips and started unbuttoning her shirt.
�It�s tempting, but no.� He gently kissed her chest and pushed her shirt off. �I want you to have fun with the guys tonight.�
�I have more fun with you though.� They looked at each other and he started kissing her everywhere; not breaking their eye contact once.
�Well, Brian�s coming for ya at 6:30/7.�
�It�ll be for nothing then.�
�If ya go I promise to let ya do things to me all night when we get home.� He smiled and kissed her stomach. �Does that sound good?�
�It�s great, but only if ya join me in the shower.�
�Um�ok.�
�Good.� He got up and pulled her with him. �Let�s go.�
