�Damn it, Howie,� Josephine said letting out a sigh of relief. �You scared the shit out of me.�
He walked over and said, �I�m sorry. I didn�t mean to.� He kissed her and looked at the twins. �There are daddy�s babies. I missed you. Yes I did. I brought you something back.� He looked at his wife. �I also brought something back for you.�
�You didn�t have to.�
�Well you know me.� He smiled.
�Yeah.� He kissed her again. �I didn�t know you were going to be home so soon.�
�Well, we�re going to do a world tour and then we�re going to start the new album afterwards.�
�Cool. How long will the tour take?�
�They�re thinking about a year. Our managements going to work on the schedule and then let us know. We�re hoping to start in September like we talked about.� She nodded. �And if we do I�m going to spend every free minute I have with my beautiful wife and beautiful children.�
�How sweet of you.� She kissed him. �So did Nick say anything about Sunn�s appointment yesterday?�
�No. Did Sunn?�
�No; she�s kind of angry with us not that I blame her. We have been ignoring her lately. We didn�t even have the decency to invite her to lunch today.�
�Why not?�
�I don�t know. We did run into her at Friendly�s though and she wasn�t too happy.�
�Why?�
She shrugged. �She said it�s because we never want to talk when she calls and we never return her calls.� He didn�t say anything. �Maybe she�s right in a way.�
�She is.� Howard got some water from the refrigerator and Josephine looked at him. �When she calls you�re not even on the phone a minute and when ya get her messages ya never call her back.� Josephine didn�t say anything. �She could really use her friends right now and that includes you also.�
�We�ve hardly been friends since that whole fiasco during our wedding. We are getting along, but not like we used to.�
�If ya want that relationship ya once had with Sunn ya have to be the friend she needs right now. Even if the others aren�t.�
�Maybe so.�
�Ya know I�m right, Sweetie. You and Sunn have been friends for a very long time and shouldn�t put anything or anyone, especially me and Nick, come between you two.�
�We had a great friendship. Best friends our whole lives getting through anything and everything. It was great.�
�I�m sure it was.�
�Are you and Nick getting along?�
�Yeah. Some days it�s like nothing ever happened. Then other times he�s looking at me like he wants to rip my head off or something.� Josephine chuckled. �I guess he has a right to though.�
�Yeah.�
�If we�re going to work together then we have to get along for the sake of the group and the fans.�
�That�s the way to do it.�
�Yes it is.�
�You guys were close once also. You shouldn�t let anything or anyone, namely Sunshine, come between your friendship. I�m sure Nickolas hates what�s going on just as much as you do. If ya guys talk I�m sure you�ll work it out. I�m willing to try and talk to Sunn to get things worked out if she wants to try.�
�Sounds like a good idea.� Josephine grinned. �Did you eat yet? I can make supper.�
�That�s what I was going to do.�
�You just relax with Caroline and Tyler and I�ll take care of supper.�
�If you insist.�
�I do, so just relax.� Josephine just smiled and shook her head.

�That was a great meal, Kev,� Danielle said. �I haven�t had that in a long time.�
�I�m glad you enjoyed it,� Kevin said.
�I loved it,� Danielle stated.
�Kevin makes the best roast,� Brian said. �Besides mom of course.�
�Learned from dad,� Kevin replied.
�It�s a family thing. Mom and Uncle Jerald learned from Grandpa.� Venus and Danielle just looked at each other.
�Gramps was the best.�
�Where�s Adi?� Venus asked changing the subject.
�She went back to PA with mom,� Danielle replied. �Since I�m going up in a week anyway mom decided to take her and go visiting the family.�
�That doesn�t bother ya?� Kevin questioned.
�Why would it?� Brian asked. �She�s family and I leave mom take Adi to Kentucky with her. It�s no big deal although it gets lonely.�
�It�s cool though,� Danielle assured them. �I�m going up in a week so I can get her then.�
�I don�t think I�d be able to do that,� Kevin admitted.
�It�s my mom, Kev; not my worst enemy.�
�I know. I�m just��
�A little too overprotective,� Venus said.
�Yeah.�
�Mom will call if anything happens,� Danielle stated. �So I ain�t worried.�
�So how�d it go at the doctor?� Venus asked.
�Well,� Danielle began, �we�re going to have another baby.�
�Congratulations,� Kevin said.
�Thank you,� Brian said.
�I feel bad though,� Danielle said. �Because of what�s going on with Sunn and Nick.�
�So do I,� Venus said. �They have to deal with me and Kevin having a baby�well three. Then Des ends up pregnant and now you do.�
�Does anyone know what they decided?� Kevin asked.
�Nope,� Brian said. �Nick didn�t say anything.�
�Neither did Sunn,� Danielle said. �Well we have been kind of bitchy to her lately. I wouldn�t talk to me either.� The phone rang.
�I got it,� Kevin said getting up and walking out.
�Any names picked out yet?� Venus asked not wanting to talk about Sunshine.
�Not yet,� Brian said. �We just found out.�
�Give us time to think about it, Venus,� Danielle said.
�Sorry,� Venus said. �Just asking. It�s not a crime.� They laughed.
�When are you do?� Brian asked.
�October 20,� Venus replied.
�But they�re not always accurate,� Danielle stated. �I had Adrianna early.�
�And Des has Paradise and Alexander early,� Venus said as Kevin walked in.
�That was Josephine,� Kevin said sitting down. �Howie had an accident.�
�Oh my God,� Danielle exclaimed. �Is he all right?�
�He�s fine,� Kevin said. �I talked to him. He said not to worry and not to rush to the hospital tonight.�
�What happened?� Brian asked.
�He was driving home from the store and someone hit him from behind sending him into another car. I didn�t get all the info, because he had to hang up. I�m going to stop by tomorrow though.�
�So am I.�
�Jo�s going to spend the night with him.�
�Who has Caroline and Tyler?� Venus asked.
�She said she dropped them off at the condo with Sunn and Nick.�
�What?� Danielle questioned. �My cousin did that? Well I�m going right over there and getting them.�
�Danielle,� Brian said.
�What? Sunn and Nick don�t need that right now. Jo knows that.�
�Pollyanna�s going to pick them up then,� Kevin stated. �After she leaves the hospital, plus Sunn and Nick said it was all right.�
�As long as they gave the ok,� Danielle said. �Then that�s fine.�
�You need to chill,� Venus said. �It�s their lives and not yours. This is probably what they need anyway.�
�Perhaps you�re right,� Kevin said. �This will probably help with whatever decision they made yesterday.� No one said anything and just looked at each other.
