�Ya know, you and my sister have been married for a year and I never seen your wedding bands,� Madeline said.
�Really?� Nickolas asked.
�Really. Sunn never showed me, only described it.� He held up his hand and she looked at it. �It�s nice�just like Sunn described it. It being embedded with dolphins gives it a nice touch. I got the traditional plain gold band.� Nickolas grinned. �Do the dolphins go all the way around?�
�Yeah. It was my idea to get the dolphins, but Sunnie�s idea to have them go all around. The guys think it�s a little too girly but I like it. They�re just picking though. We wanted something different from everyone else. And Sunnie wanted something to match her engagement ring.�
�Well it�s nice.�
�Thanks.� He looked at his ring.
�Nick, I want to apologize to ya.�
�For what?�
�Not appreciating the love you have for my little sister. I never really accepted it, because of what happened in the past.�
�Don�t�don�t worry about it.�
�No I want to say this.� He looked at her as Dominic and Jordan ran over to him. �I didn�t think you loved my sister that much�even after you got married.�
�I love Sunnie more than anything in the universe.�
�I know that now. I just held a grudge against you after you broke the engagement and her heart. She told me and assured me that you would never hurt her, but when you did I just got angry with you.�
�Forget about it, Maddie.�
�I guess this proves to me how much ya do love her.�
�More than anyone knows.�
�Yeah.�
�Plus I would never spend $2.5 million on an engagement ring for someone I didn�t love as much as I do Sunnie. I wouldn�t have gotten it specially made either.�
�I guess not. I guess I have to lighten up on ya now.�
�Maybe.�
�Yeah, maybe.�
�Nick,� Dr. Martin said and Nickolas looked. �Sunn�s going to be fine.� Nickolas left out a sigh and Dr. Martin sat next to him.
�What happened, Barrett?� Nickolas asked. �You said she was going to be fine. Did her BP go up again?�
�Actually it went down,� Dr. Martin replied and Nickolas looked at him. �I�m not sure what made it go down so I�m going to run some more tests. She also had some heart failure. It was very mild though.�
�A heart attack?� Madeline asked.
�In a sense. It was just caused by too much stress. It was a lot more than her heart could take and plus her condition doesn�t help any.�
�What condition?� Madeline questioned.
�I�ll explain later,� Nickolas answered. �Is she awake?�
�She was slowly coming around when I left the room,� Dr. Martin said. �You can see her for a couple minutes if ya want.�
�Yes,� Nickolas said jumping at the chance.
�One at a time though. I don�t want her to get too excited.�
�Alright.�
�Also I want to let ya know that if ya waited another thirty minutes, she could�ve died.� Nickolas didn�t say anything.
�But she�ll be fine,� Madeline said.
�Yeah.�
�Anything else we should know?� Madeline asked.
�What about the baby?� Nickolas wanted to know and Madeline looked at him.
�The baby�s perfectly fine,� Dr. Martin replied. �Sunn was also dehydrated.�
�But she drinks plenty of fluids for the both of us.�
�It can happen. We have an IV in her now to give her the fluids she needs.�
�I�d like to see her now.�
�Ok.� They got up. �Right this way.� They started walking.
�Uncle Nicky!� Dominic yelled running to him and Nickolas picked him up. �I go too.�
�Alright, Champ,� Nickolas said and he followed the doctor to Sunshine�s room.
Nickolas walked into the room and started towards the bed as Dominic said, �Shh! Aunt Sunnie�s sleeping.�
�Yeah she is,� Nickolas said stopping at the bed and looking at his wife. �She�s peaceful. Want to give her a kiss?�
�Uh-huh.� Nickolas put Dominic next to Sunshine and he kissed her forehead. He looked at Nickolas and smiled. �Your turn.�
�My turn?�
�Yeah.�
�Ok.� Nickolas leaned down and kissed his wife�s lips. He stood up straight and looked at Sunshine. Her eyes started to open and Dominic gasped. Her eyes fully opened and she looked at Nickolas.
�Uh oh!� Dominic said smiling and he buried his face in Nickolas. �She�s awake.�
�Yep.� Sunshine reached for his hand. �It�s alright, Champ.�
�Hey,� Sunshine said.
�Hey,� Nickolas said pulling over a chair and sitting down.
�Did I scare ya?�
�Yeah.�
�Sorry.�
�It�s all right. I�m just glad you�re ok.�
�Will I be?�
�Of course. I ain�t going to let anything happen to you.�
�I�ll take care of you,� Dominic said.
�I�m sure you will,� Sunshine said smiling.
�Uncle Nicky said you�re sick.�
�Yeah.�
�Here.� He handed her his stuffed Scooby Doo.
�That�s yours.�
�It�ll make you feel better. Take it.�
�Ok.� She took the Scooby Doo. �Thank you.� He smiled.
�The doc said you�re BP dropped and had some heart failure,� Nickolas said and Sunshine just looked at him. �I heart attack in a sense. He said the stress and stuff was just too much for your heart. You�re going to be fine though. I promise.� She continued looking at him. �I mean it this time.�
�I�m sure you do.�
�I do.� She smiled. �You�re also dehydrated.�
�Oh.�
�It happens, but nothing to worry about.�
�Are you sure I�m going to be all right?�
�Yes.� She sighed. �Why is this happening to me?�
�I don�t know, but I wish I did.�
�When you have baby?� Dominic asked and they looked at him.
�Um�well�� Nickolas began, �we�re working on that. Why?�
��Cause everyone else is,� Dominic replied. �Why?�
�It�s what two people in love do,� Sunshine stated. �Like your mommy and daddy. They�re in love and wanted you and Jordan.�
�Oh. Why?�
�Well, they didn�t think their lives were complete so they wanted to have you and JT,� Nickolas said.
�Oh. Why?�
Sunshine and Nickolas laughed and Nickolas said, �You�re silly.�
�Nuh-uh. You are.�
�Yes he is,� Sunshine agreed and Nickolas shook his head.
�Hey, Champ,� Nickolas said. �What do you say we leave Aunt Sunnie alone so she can get some rest?�
�Ok,� Dominic said.
�You don�t have to go,� Sunshine said.
�Barrett said only for a couple minutes,� Nickolas said.
�I want you to stay though.�
�No, no, no. You need the rest. I�ll be back later.� Sunshine gave a pout. �None of that.� He gave her a kiss. �I�ll be back later. I promise.�
�Alright.� She grinned and he got up. �Bye, Buddy.�
�Bye,� Dominic said.
�Later,� Nickolas said.
�Later,� Sunshine said and Nickolas walked out. Sunshine left out a sigh and looked out the window.

�Hey, Frack,� Alexander said.
�Hey, Bone,� Nickolas said as they did a manly handshake. �Des.�
�Hey,� Destiny said giving him a hug. �Maddie called and we wanted to see how Sunn was doing.�
�Dr. Martin said she�s going to be fine.�
�We�re sorry.�
�Don�t say that to Sunnie. I think she�s sick of that word. I�m sick of it myself. Everyone says it to us. You can only hear it so many times.�
�Yeah,� Alexander said.
�So where is she?� Destiny asked.
�Doc�s running some more tests,� Nickolas replied. �Procedure he says.�
�Oh.�
�He just started and said it could take up to an hour.�
�Visiting hours will be over by then,� Alexander pointed out.
�We can just come back tomorrow,� Destiny stated. �I have off.�
�We could,� Alexander agreed.
�Where�s Maddie?� Destiny asked.
�She took Dominic and Jordan back to the condo,� Nickolas replied. �They were getting grouchy.�
�I bet.�
�Where�s Paris and Alex?�
�With mom,� Alexander answered. �We have to pick them up then.�
�We can stop by the condo then and see Maddie,� Destiny suggested. �The twins can play with DJ and JT for a little.�
�Yeah,� Alexander agreed. �Are you going to be home then, man?�
�Nah,� Nickolas said. �I�m going to stay here with Sunnie. They want to keep her here for observation a couple days.�
�We understand,� Destiny said. �Just give Sunnie out love and tell her we�ll see her tomorrow.�
�Alright,� Nickolas said. �Thanks for stopping by.�
�It was nothing,� Alexander assured him. �We�re all family.�
�I�ll see ya�s later then,� Nickolas said.
�Ok,� Destiny said. �Bye.�
�Bye,� Nickolas said as Alexander and Destiny walked away.
