�Where�s Sunshine?� Venus asked, as she got ready for her wedding at Destiny�s.
�She�s running late,� Danielle replied. �Nick called and said she got up late and she still ain�t feeling well. He said he�ll drop her off on his way to Kevin�s.�
�Just calm down, Sis,� LaTonya, Venus� sister, said. �Sunn wouldn�t miss this for the world. She always wanted to see you get married.�
�I just don�t want anything to go wrong,� Venus said.
�Nothing�s going to go wrong,� LaTonya said.
�I hope not,� Venus said, as the phone rang.
�I�ll get it,� Danielle said and the twins started crying.
�And I�ll get them,� Destiny said.
�I�ll help ya,� Josephine said, as she and Destiny left the parlor and Danielle picked up the phone.
�I�m so nervous,� Venus said. �I was never this nervous in my life. What if someone objects?�
�I�ll throw them out,� LaTonya said. �No one will ruin your big day.�
�I hope not,� Venus said. �I really want to marry Kevin. I love Kev.�
�We all know that.�
�Where are mom and Bess?�
�They should soon be here. Bess� dress ripped and they had to get another one.�
�This is great. What else could go wrong?� Danielle approached and looked at Venus. �What�s wrong?�
�That was Nick,� Danielle began, �unfortunately Sunnie Jo still ain�t feeling well. Nick said she�s puking her guts out, but said it ain�t stopping her from attending the wedding. He also said he�ll get her ready and have her to the church on time.�
�I can�t believe this.� Venus sat on the sofa.
�Believe what?� Josephine asked stepping into the parlor.
�Sunn being sick and not being here with me.�
�I�m sure she�s sick. She just wants to be with Nick.�
�She is sick, Jo,� Danielle replied. �Did you see her last night? She looked like a ghost and I thought she was going to pass out.�
�No I didn�t see her, because I wasn�t watching her. I don�t talk to her anymore.�
�And whose fault is that? Not mine or anyone else�s, but your own.�
�Will you guys please stop?� Venus begged. �It�s my wedding day. All that matters is Sunn�s going to be there.� There was a knock. �It better not be anything bad.� LaTonya walked to the door and opened it. �Mom, it�s about time.�
�Gees, Venus,� Josephine said. �Calm down. Nothing�s going wrong, besides your bridesmaid ditching you for her stupid ass boyfriend.�
�Sunn�s not coming,� Shondra, Venus� mom, said.
�Can I take her place?� Bess, Venus� other sister, asked.
�No, Bess,� Venus replied. �Sunn�s going to meet us at the church, because she ain�t feeling well this morning. She�ll be there.�
�You better pray too,� Josephine said and the others just shook their heads.

�Nickolas is always late,� Kevin complained, as he stood at the church waiting patiently for the wedding to start and the arrival of Nickolas. �The day I need him the most and he�s got to be late. I should�ve never asked him to be in the wedding.�
�Kev, he�s going to be here,� Alexander said. �Do you just want him to leave Sunn with the way she�s feeling? You know he�d never do that.�
�The weddings in fifteen minutes, Alex,� Kevin reminded him.
�He�ll be here,� Brian said.
�There he is,� Kevin�s brother, Tim, said pointing to the back and they saw Nickolas give Sunshine a kiss then she walked away.
�About time,� Kevin said, as Nickolas walked to the front.
�I�m sorry I�m late,� Nickolas apologized. �Sunnie was in so much pain and didn�t want to move.�
�Is she ok?� Kevin asked.
�She says she is,� Nickolas replied. �But I don�t know for sure.�
�I hope she is,� Howard said and Nickolas just looked at him, as Danielle and Josephine walked up.
�The girls are ready,� Danielle said and Josephine just eyed Nickolas. �This is the moment you�ve been waiting for.�
�The big moment,� Kevin stated, as Josephine continued eyeing Nickolas. Nickolas could feel her eyes on him, but didn�t bother looking at her. �Everyone ready?�
�Yeah,� they said.
�Just as long as Josephine stops staring at me,� Nickolas replied.
�I ain�t staring at you,� Josephine lied.
�Don�t lie in the house of God,� Nickolas said. �It ain�t nice.�
�I�m not,� Josephine said.
�Let�s go sit down,� Howard said.
�Whatever,� Nickolas said, as Howard and Josephine walked away and sat on Kevin�s side.
�Come, Danielle,� Alexander said. �Let�s sit�on Venus� side.�
�Ok,� Danielle said following Alexander, as the guys got in their positions and the music started playing.
Everyone looked to the back and saw Destiny standing there. She started walking down the aisle and when she was halfway she was followed by Sunshine. Sunshine made it halfway and she was followed by LaTonya. She made it to the front with Destiny and Sunshine and the bridal march began playing. Everyone stood up and looked to the back again and saw Venus and her father standing there. Venus smiled and they began to walk to the front.
When they got to the front and everyone sat down, the Preacher asked, �Who gives this woman to this man?�
�Her mother and I do,� Shane, Venus� father, said. He kissed Venus� cheek and put her hand in Kevin�s then went and sat down.
�We are gathered here today�� the Preacher began.

The ceremony took about twenty minutes and afterward everyone watched the newlyweds kiss and walk up the aisle. When they were at the back of the church, the wedding party began walking up the aisle with LaTonya and Tim, Sunshine and Brian, and Destiny and Nickolas. They all stood at the back of the church and waited as everyone did their congratulations. When it was all done they began the pictures. Some stayed and some headed to the reception hall.
As they got pictures of the two families after the bridal pictures, Sunshine sat alone in a back pew. Nickolas sat beside her and she laid her head on his shoulder, as he asked, �Sweets, how are you feeling?� She looked at him.
�I feel a little better,� Sunshine said. �I don�t feel as sick as I did earlier.�
�Any idea of what it might be?� He smiled and Sunshine shook her head.
�I know how much you want a baby, Nick, but I ain�t pregnant. Just trust me.� Nickolas only looked at her. �The reason I know is, because I get a visitor every month.�
�I understand.�
�A couple of years, Baby, I promise.�
�I know. I promised I can wait.� He kissed her. �I really like it just us actually. We can do whatever we want��
�Not really, Nicky. Remember New Years and how your family walked in on us?�
�I try to forget that.�
�And that�s a wrap!� Alexander yelled. �Time for the reception.�
�If ya didn�t know any better,� Sunshine began, �you�d think Alex was an alcoholic.�
�I know.� Nickolas agreed getting up. He looked at Sunshine and held out his hand. �Let�s go.� Sunshine put her hand in Nickolas� and started to get up.
�Ow! Damn it!� She slapped her mouth. �Forgive me Father for I have sinned. I just cursed in your house and I�m sorry.� Nickolas just looked at her. �I�m fine really.�
�No you�re not.� He helped her up. �Monday I�m taking you to the doctor.�
�I�m so sick of doctors, Nick. I�ve seen my share.�
�I don�t care; you�re going.�
�You can�t make me.� She gave him a cute sweet look.
�Don�t get cute on me either.� They started walking.
�Why not? Don�t ya like it when I get cute?�
�Well, yeah, but I like it better when you get naked.� Sunshine went to speak, but Nickolas kissed her before she could. �Do ya like it when I get naked?�
�I like you the way you are.� She smiled and Nickolas picked her up. �Careful.�
�Sorry.� Nickolas carried her out of the church and to the limo for the bride, groom, and bridal party.
�Nick, aren�t you forgetting something?� Nickolas just looked at her. �The bubble thing for the bride and groom.�
�Right.� Nickolas turned around and walked back to the crowd.
�Where were you guys?� Brian asked.
�Nick�s in a hurry to leave,� Sunshine replied. �He went straight to the limo.�
�Yeah, well, here�s your bubbles,� Danielle said handing them both a bottle of bubbles, as Nickolas put Sunshine on her feet. �I�m sure you guys were at the limo.�
�Fine don�t believe us,� Nickolas said, as Sunshine blew bubbles in his face and Kevin and Venus walked out. Everyone started blowing bubbles, as the bride and groom walked by and went to the limo.
�Now the limo, Baby,� Sunshine said.
�Party time,� Alexander yelled.
�Alcoholic,� Sunshine replied.
�No thanks to you,� Alexander said walking by her and Nickolas with Destiny.
�I�m glad you�re not coming in the limo with us,� Sunshine said.
�I just might.�
�You can�t, �cause you weren�t in the wedding.� Nickolas picked her up. �Woo!�
�Leave him go,� Nickolas said giving Sunshine a kiss and she just smiled.
