�No we haven�t,� Venus said.
�Good.� She walked away from the window and a couple seconds later she walked inside and they all looked at her.
�What�s wrong?� Kevin asked.
�Nick won�t leave me alone. Everywhere I go he�s right there. I couldn�t go to the bathroom by myself. Nicky had to stand right outside the door.�
�He�s in love,� Bradley said.
�I�d be following you around too, Sunn,� Aaron smirked and Sunshine looked at him.
�Don�t start, Aaron,� Sunshine warned. �It�s not funny. I think someone said something to him.�
�Like what?� Josephine asked. �That you�re cheating on him�with Brad?�
�Yeah I am cheating on him with Brad as a matter of fact.� She rolled her eyes. �You�re a fucking idiot anymore. Maybe you�re the one cheating on Howie and have to accuse someone else of cheating because you feel guilty.�
�Ladies, calm down,� Kevin said, as Sunshine walked over and stood beside Aaron and Bradley at the sink.
The kitchen door flew open with Nickolas asking, �Did anyone see Sunnie? I can�t find her.� Bradley and Aaron quickly stepped in front of Sunshine before Nickolas saw her.
�Just this Sunny,� Aaron lied. �Not the other one though.�
�I wonder where she got to,� Nickolas said and he walked to the back door. �If you see her before I do, tell her I�m looking for her.�
�No problem,� Kevin said and Nickolas walked out, as Bradley and Aaron looked at Sunshine.
�You guys are the best,� Sunshine said and the two guys smiled.
�I thought you liked being around Nick?� Josephine questioned.
�Let Howie follow you around everywhere and tell me how you like it. On second thought you�d like it just as long as he wasn�t around me.�
�At least I enjoy Howie�s company.�
�And I enjoy Nick�s.�
�Sunshine! Josephine! Knock it off!� Kevin yelled and everyone looked at him. �This is getting old. Josephine, Sunshine doesn�t want Howard. How many times does she need to tell you? She�s very happy with Nickolas and Howard�s happy with you. I better not hear another word about this from either of you.�
�She�� Josephine began.
�Not another word, Josephine,� Kevin interrupted. �Just drop it.�
�No complaints here,� Sunshine stated and the back door opened, as the two girls glared at each other.
�There you are,� Nickolas said walking over to Sunshine. �I was looking everywhere for ya.�
�Ya found me,� Sunshine said, as she and Josephine continued glaring at each other. Nickolas put his arms around Sunshine and gave her a kiss, as Aaron watched disgustedly and Bradley looked away. �What�d ya want?�
�Just wanted to be with you.�
�There�s a surprise.�
�What�s that supposed to mean?�
�Nothing; aren�t you sick of me yet?�
�I could never get sick of you.�
�Neither could I,� Aaron chimed in, as Sunshine and Nickolas looked at him.
�Awe!� Venus gushed. �I wish I had two guys in love with me.�
�Sunn has three,� Josephine pointed out.
�Josephine,� Kevin warned.
�But she only wants one,� Nickolas reminded them. �Ain�t that right?�
�Yes,� Sunshine said smiling. �I only want Tommy Cruise.� Nickolas just looked at her dumbfounded and she smiled while patting his cheeks. �But I love you.�
�And I love you.� She kissed him.
�So sweet,� Sunny said. �I hope I find a love like that. A love that can conquer all and beat the odds.� She looked at Bradley and smiled and Sunshine chuckled. �I�ll probably be fifty when he realizes it.� Everyone laughed and Sunshine continued chuckling, as Sunny continued looking at an oblivious Bradley.
�What are you laughing at?� Nickolas asked.
�Nothing,� Sunshine said.
�Hey, Josie,� Howard interrupted. �Are you ready to go?�
�Not yet,� Josephine replied.
�It�s almost three,� Howard pointed out. �Over half the people are gone.�
�So,� Josephine said, as Sunshine walked from the kitchen and Nickolas quickly looked at Josephine. �I�m not ready.�
�But I have a present for ya.�
�What is it?�
�When we get home.�
�I want it now and I won�t take no for an answer.� He only looked at her. �Please.�
�Fine.�
�Let me go get Sunn first. I want her to see it.� She walked out and they watched Nickolas follow.
�Is Nick paranoid about something or is it just me?� Aaron questioned. �Did someone say something to him?�
�I didn�t,� Kevin and Bradley said simultaneously.
�I wonder if it�s what I said,� Howard said and they all looked at him. �When I said Sunn better not turn her back to Jo, because she might get stabbed in the back.�
�Now ya have him thinking Jo�s going to stab Sunn,� Venus stated. �Way to go.�
�No wonder he won�t leave her side,� Sunny added. �The poor guy�s paranoid.� The kitchen door opened and everyone walked in.
�I should�ve just done this on stage,� Howard complained. �I get an audience.�
�What is it?� Josephine asked standing in front of him. Everyone looked at them, but Howard said nothing. They watched, as he pulled the ring from his pocket. He held it up to show Josephine and everyone stared. �Howie.�
�Miss Horowitz, will you marry me?�
�Yes!� She threw her arms around him and kissed him.
�Awe!� everyone said, as Howard put the ring on Josephine�s finger.
�I love you,� Howard said.
�I love you,� Josephine said and they kissed again.
�Thank you, Lord!� Sunshine cheered and they all looked at her. �What?� They only laughed. �I�m happy.�
�We believe it,� Kevin said.
Sunshine started walking away from Nickolas, but he pulled her back, and asked, �Where are ya going?�
�To give D and Jo a hug,� Sunshine replied and walked away. Nickolas didn�t take his gaze off Sunshine and Josephine as they hugged. �Let me see that ring.� Josephine held up her hand to show her the ring and Sunshine just grinned and looked at Howard. �It�s beautiful.�
�It�s gorgeous,� Josephine said.
�Mine�s gorgeous, Honey,� Sunshine said holding up her ring in comparison and Josephine glared at her. �It�s one of a kind and there�ll never be another one like it. This one was meant for me and me only.� She smiled, as Josephine glared at her more and walked away. Nickolas walked over, as Sunshine hugged Howard. �Make it quick.� Howard just looked at her confused. Everyone congratulated Howard and Josephine and Nickolas kept a hold of Sunshine the whole time.
�Ok, Howie, I�m ready,� Josephine said.
�Alright,� Howard said. �We�ll see ya�s later.�
�Later,� they all said and watched them walk out.
Sunshine walked over to the kitchen door and pushed it open. She watched Howard and Josephine go out the front door then looked at the others and started laughing. They all looked at her strangely and she continued laughing like she was ready to bust a lung then Brian finally asked, �What are you laughing about?�
Between laughter, Sunshine said, �That ring�that ring he gave her�this is funny shit�� They just continued looking at her confused more. �That�you�re going to love this��
�Sunshine, get a grip,� Bradley said.
�I can�t help it. It�s funny.�
�What is?� they all asked and Sunshine looked at them.
�Howie got that ring over in Paris.� They all looked at her like they really cared. �This is the killer�he wanted to give me that same exact ring when we were together.�
�Oiy!� they all said.
�Ain�t that funny?�
�You�re not going to tell her are you?� Venus questioned hoping for a no. �It�ll just make things a hell of a lot worse.�
�It depends on how bad she pisses me off.�
�You�re just asking for trouble,� Kevin said.
�No; Howie is. He�s the fucking idiot. He claims he loves Josephine yet he gives her a ring that he had gotten for me.�
�Are you pissed because you don�t have it?� Nickolas questioned interestingly.
Sunshine scoffed. �No; I got my own ring and it�s better.� She looked at it and smiled. �Way better.� She continued smiling. �Well two rings that are a million times better than hers.� She looked at the other ring that Bradley had gotten her for her birthday.
�You�re going to rub it in aren�t ya?�
�Maybe.� She smiled and Nickolas kissed her. �Are you ready?�
�If you are.�
�Yeah; I�m getting tired.�
�Alright.�
�See ya guys later,� Brian said.
�See ya,� Sunshine and Nickolas said walking towards the door.
Sunshine turned around and ran over to Bradley. She gave him a hug and kissed his cheek, as Nickolas watched; he wasn�t jealous though. He was glad he had Sunshine and not Bradley. Let them be friends if it made her happy. He didn�t care anymore. Sunshine walked back over to him and took his hand then they left the kitchen.
They made their way outside to Nickolas� truck and Sunshine said, �I�m really not tired.� Nickolas looked at her, as he opened her door. �I just said that, because I want some alone time with you.� She kissed him and took a finger down his chest. �I�m glad you opted for the street rat look.� She grinned and grabbed the waist of his pants and pulled him towards her. �Very nice abs.� She kissed him again.
�Well I had to get in shape, because I was told you were really talking about going as Jasmine for the party.�
�Uh huh, but who cares. You�re just looking hot.�
�I�m glad ya approve.�
�So lets get out of here and I�ll show ya how much I approve.�
�Plus there�s a bed of roses waiting for us.� She smiled and he kissed her.
