�Thanks,� Destiny said. �Anything new?�
�Besides Sunn�s odd behavior,� Josephine said. �Nothing.�
�Where is she now?� Alexander asked.
�Her and Nick are walking the beach,� Howard replied, as they went out on the balcony. �She acted very strange this afternoon. It was like she had a memory lapse or something. I never saw her like this before.� He looked down to the beach and saw Sunshine and Nickolas.
�None of us have, Howie,� Destiny said. �I�ve known Sunn for over twenty years and I have never witnessed anything like this.�
�It�s out of character for Sunn,� Josephine added.
�At least she has Nick helping her through whatever�s wrong with her,� Alexander stated. �She could be going through it alone.� They just looked at him. �I�m sure she�ll tell us when she�s ready.�
�Bombarded by fans,� Howard said smiling. �I love it when that happens.�
�What?� Josephine asked.
�Sunn and Nicky,� Howard said pointing down to the beach and the other three looked over. �I love watching Nicky get attacked.�
�He�s use to it now,� Alexander replied. �But Sunn, I think she�s still trying to get use to it.�
�It�s not easy being the object of every guy�s fantasy,� Josephine said. �I think that�s one thing Sunn didn�t count on when she became famous.�
�But she�s always had eyes for one man,� Destiny reminded them.
�A certain blonde-haired blue-eyes man; no one was ever better than him. Sorry guys.� Alexander and Howard just looked at each other and shrugged.
�Want to go to a movie? Or rent one?�
�I�ve been wanting to see that Ryan Philippe flick; the one with Neve Campbell.�
�I know what you�re talking about. Ain�t it about a girl and her boyfriend and their battle with her addiction to painkillers or something like that?�
�That�s the one. Let�s go get it. You guys can stay here and wait. Order, like, two extra large pizzas or make something. We�ll be back.� She kissed Howard.
�Ok, dear,� Alexander smirked, as Destiny gave him a quick kiss and the girls left. Alexander looked at Howard and asked, �How bad do you think Sunn�s problem is?�
�I don�t know,� Howard replied. �I just hope it ain�t life threatening. Nick would fall to pieces if anything happened to her.�
�Yes he would. We all saw how upset he was when she skipped town that time.�
�This would only be worse.� Howard looked back down to the beach and noticed the fans were gone. �Look how happy they are.�
�They�re a fairytale couple. Their love could last through anything.�
�They put us all to shame.�
�What are you talking about, D? They don�t put me and Des to shame; we�re happy.�
�So am I.� They watched Sunshine and Nickolas from the eighteenth floor. �Do you think they�ll always be that happy?�
�Oh definitely.� They watched Sunshine slap Nickolas across the face and run from him. �Or not.� They looked at her. �I give her two minutes.� They walked inside and sat on the sofa. They waited for the next minute or so and Alexander just smiled when the door opened. They saw Sunshine walk in and Nickolas right behind. �Told ya.�
�Sunnie, I�m sorry,� Nickolas said closing the door.
�Go to hell and stay away from me!� Sunshine snapped. �I hate you!�
�I didn�t mean it,� Nickolas said. �I�m sorry.�
�It seems he�s always apologizing to her anymore,� Howard stated.
�You can say you�re sorry the rest of your life and I will not accept it this time,� Sunshine said walking back to her room and Nickolas followed.
�Sweets, please,� Nickolas said.
�At least they�re getting their fighting out now,� Alexander stated.
�True,� Howard said picking up the phone. �Their relationship would make a great movie.�
�You�re telling me,� Alexander agreed and the two guys laughed, as Howard got on the phone.

�Sweets, must we fight?� Nickolas asked.
�You made my problem seem like a big fucking joke,� Sunshine stated. �How am I supposed to take that? And handle that?�
�I�m sorry. I didn�t mean anything by it.�
�You�re supposed to be helping me and supporting me through this problem�not cracking jokes.� She sat on the edge of the bed.
�I�m really sorry, Sweets.� He knelt in front of her and she just looked at him, as he took her sunglasses off. �I didn�t mean to hurt you.� She didn�t speak. �I just don�t want you to feel that this problem is all bad. You can still have fun like you use to.�
�Then please don�t crack jokes about it.�
�I won�t. I promise.� He kissed her. �It�s going to be total support.�
�I just don�t want people to know I have a serious addiction problem.�
�Of course not.� He rubbed her legs. �Not until you�re ready.�
�I just don�t want anyone to know, because they�ll just make it worse.� He looked at her. �You know how they are, Nicky.�
�I understand.� They just looked at each other a moment. �I�m really truly sorry. I love you.�
�And I love you.� She hugged him.
�Am I forgiven?� She gave a little laugh and slapped his back.
�I thought �I love you� said it all?�
�Well��
�Yes you�re forgiven.�
�Good.� He kissed her neck and she looked at him. �What?� She didn�t say anything, but kissed him. He kissed her in return, as she pulled him up. He laid her back, as she pushed off his over shirt. They laid there kissing and Nickolas moved his hands up Sunshine�s shirt.
As Nickolas went to remove her shirt, Sunshine said, �Nick, wait. Please stop.�
�What�s wrong?� He looked at her worried.
�I can�t do this. I�m sorry.� She got up off the bed. �I know we had sex before, but I just can�t do it this time. I�m just not feeling anything when you touch me.� Nickolas looked at her shocked not knowing what to say. �I�m sorry, but it�s as if Brian or Kev�s touching me. The temptations not there and going through my body like before.� Nickolas just stayed silent as he got up. �Nicky, don�t be mad. Please. I didn�t want to tell you this, but the last two times you touched me like this�I faked it.� A tear slid down her cheek, as they looked at each other.
�Wow!� He ran a hand through his hair. �I honestly don�t know what to say, Sunnie.�
�I know you�re upset, but��
�Why didn�t you tell me?�
�I didn�t want to hurt you or make you believe I didn�t love you anymore. I do love you very much, but I can�t go on pretending anymore. I can�t pretend that I feel the same things you feel when we�re together. It�s not fair to you.� Nickolas saw Sunshine�s eyes fill up with tears and he walked over to her.
�Sunnie, it�s all right.� He took her in his arms. �I�m not mad.�
�I don�t know what�s wrong with me. I can�t enjoy your touch like I use to. I�ve always enjoyed your touch from the second you touched me.�
�It�s all right. It�s probably just a phase people go through when they have a problem like this. I�m not going to hold it against you. It�ll pass in time. It could be over before you know it.� She just cried. �I promise it�ll be over before our wedding night.� They just stood there in each others arms not saying a word.
