�Jo�s not sure about that only that she and Howie have been finding them on the sofa in the morning cuddle in each other�s arms.�

�Well you seem a little depressed. Is something wrong?�
�Everything�s fine. If I�m depressed, it�s because of the whole Sunn and Nick thing.�
�Everything�s going to be fine. It�ll all be peachy.�

Destiny smiled and continued, �Then after spending so much time with you, I realized you weren�t that bad on the eyes after all.�

Sunshine and Nickolas walked to the condo, mid-evening that same day, after a long walk on the beach. They got on the elevator and went up to the eighteenth floor smiling. After they got off the elevator, Nickolas took Sunshine�s hand and held it in his. Sunshine looked at him and smiled then they walked to Sunshine�s place. Nickolas opened the door and not letting go of the other�s hand, they went inside together. Nickolas closed the door; they both smiled, and went to go down to the parlor, but stopped when they saw Josephine and Howard on the sofa.
Nickolas and Sunshine turned their backs and Sunshine said, �I can�t believe this.�
�Are you going to stop them before they start doing something we definitely don�t want to be witnesses to?� Nickolas asked.
�You�re right,� Sunshine said and turned around then yelled, �What the fuck do you guys think you�re doing?� Startled, Josephine and Howard looked then covered themselves. �What the fuck do you think you�re doing exactly�on my damn sofa!�
�We can explain it,� Josephine said
�That the mood was right and my couch happened to be there! I can�t believe you guys would do this in my home! I thought you had respect for me!�
�We do and we�re really sorry,� Howard said.
�This whole situation has gotten out of hand. I don�t care that you�re mushy and what not, but please do not do it in front of me, in my parlor, on my couch! Do it in the bedroom.� Nickolas and Sunshine walked away from the door. �Hell, don�t even do it in the bedroom. I gave you the sex rule; no sex unless I�m the one that�s doing it. This is my home and I set the rules.�
�We�re really truly sorry,� Josephine apologized.
�Another thing; the next time I, or anyone for that matter, have to walk in here and witness one of your sexcapades you�re both out the door. This is totally disrespectful and uncalled for.� She started walking away very angry. �Don�t let it happen again.�
They watched her go into the kitchen and Nickolas said, �She better not be mad at me or you�re both in some serious shit.� He went to the kitchen with Josephine and Howard watching him. Nickolas went into the kitchen and found Sunshine sitting at the table with her head in her arm. He sat beside her and began rubbing her back and said, �I can only imagine how that must�ve felt for you to witness that.�
�What do you mean?� Sunshine asked not looking at him.
�I�m not stupid, Sunnie. The first time you saw me.�
�Doesn�t mean I saw you again.�
�If you want me to believe it.� She looked at him.
�What do you want me to say, Nicky? I saw you with her already on that same fucking couch.�
�That was her fault.� She got up. �Are you mad at me now?�
�No, I�m sorry. I just can�t believe that they would be so disrespectful towards me. In my own home even.� He got up and walked over to her. �I just thought that they had respect for me. Didn�t they stop to think that I�d be home soon?�
�You�re right, but you don�t need to worry about me being with another girl.�
�I never said I was worried.�
�I know you, Sweets.� Sunshine only looked at him, as he tucked her hair behind her ears then put his arms around her. �If I told you once, I told you a million times, you�re the only girl I�m ever going to have sex with. I plan on sticking around.� Sunshine only smiled. �That�s what I love to see on you.� Nickolas smiled, as he took her face in his hands. Nickolas leaned down and she just looked at him.
Nickolas got closer and she asked, �What�s going on between us, Nicky? You know I want you, but do you want me?� Nickolas smiled and got even closer.
�I�ve been waiting to do this since Sunday after I hurt you. I believe now is the right time.� Sunshine only looked at him, as he slowly covered her lips with his own. Sunshine kissed him in return and put her good arm around his neck. They kissed for a moment, but it felt like eternity. They pulled apart and looked at each other smiling, as Nickolas pressed his forehead against Sunshine�s. �Did you enjoy that?�
�Very much so. Did you?�
�Definitely.�
They went to kiss again, but stopped when they heard, �Sorry to interrupt.� Sunshine and Nickolas looked to see Howard and Josephine standing at the kitchen doorway. �May we talk?�
�About what?� Sunshine questioned.
�What just happened,� Josephine answered. �We�re sorry about you guys walking in and seeing us half-naked on the couch.�
�It was disrespectful of us,� Howard added. �Considering this is your place.�
�I honestly don�t know what to say to you guys,� Sunshine stated leaving Nickolas go. �I wasn�t actually planning on coming home and seeing my roommate and her boyfriend ready to have sex on my sofa. I�m totally ashamed for you two.�
�We�re sorry,� Howard said.
�Did you guys even stop to think that I�d be home soon?� Josephine and Howard just looked at each other then at Sunshine. �I didn�t think so. What happened in that living room was totally uncalled for. I thought you guys had better manners.�
�We�re really sorry for being disrespectful towards you,� Josephine said. �And Nick.�
�Just go please.�
�All right. I�ll get my things and you won�t have to see me anymore.�
�What are you talking about? I meant to leave the kitchen.�
�Alright,� Howard said leading Josephine from the kitchen.
When they were gone, Nickolas asked, �Are you ok?�
�I�ll be fine,� Sunshine said. �But I doubt if my subconscious will. I�ll be having nightmares about it.� Nickolas sat at the table and put Sunshine on his lap.
�I can make you have happy dreams.� He smiled.
�How?�
�Think about it, Sweets.�
�I did and no.� Nickolas only looked at her. �The next time we have sex I have to know it�s for sure. I�m not going to just give in, because you kiss me, flash your sexy smile, or because I find you so extremely sexy. It�ll have to be because we�re in love and plan on spending the rest of our lives together.�
�You feel very strongly about this.�
�Look what happened the last time. I�m not going to let it happen again.�
�Neither will I.� He smiled reassuringly which made her smile and then he kissed her.
