Sunshine hung up the phone and sat there on her bed smiling. The nightmare was finally ending and she couldn�t be happier. All that needed to be done was Nickolas putting the ring back on her finger. And hopefully it would be soon.

�So how was the party last night?� Aaron asked his brother, as they drove back to Nickolas� from the airport.
�Good,� Nickolas replied smiling.
Aaron looked at him. �Uh huh. So I take it you seen Sunn.�
�Yes I saw Sunnie.�
�So I take it things went well with that smile.�
�We got along. We were talking and hanging.�
�Did ya get back together?�
Nickolas looked at him a second then said, �No.�
�Why not? What the fuck are you waiting for?�
�The perfect moment.�
�She loves you. You love her. The moment doesn�t get anymore perfect, dear brother. Confess your love and put the damn ring back on her finger.�
�She knows I love her. I told her that much last night.�
�So why aren�t you together?�
�Because she wants the truth and I can�t that to her right now.�

�I�m not giving it up.� Aaron looked at him. �I just need some time to sort some shit out.�

�Because Sunn is an amazing girl and I hate seeing her in pain. It�s not fair what you�re putting her through. If you�re not going to be honest with your family or anyone else at least be honest with Sunn. She deserves that much for putting up with your sorry ass.�

Before Nickolas could stop himself he shouted, �I did last night!� He and Aaron looked at each other then he quickly looked back to the road.
�What�d you do?�
�Well�uh�I mean�I tried to do something about it last night.�
�Don�t give me that fucking bullshit, Nick. You might be able to lie to everyone else, but you can�t lie to me.�
They drove along in silence a few minutes then Nickolas finally said, �The truth is; we made love last night.�
Aaron looked at him. �How sweet. But you didn�t tell her the truth?�
�No.�
�Why not?�
�I don�t know. I wanted to, but I couldn�t work up the nerve.�
�But she knows you still love her?�
�Yes; I told her last night and again this afternoon before I left.�
�Then all that�s left is for you to tell her the truth and put the ring back on her finger. Honestly, Nick, I think that�s all that she really wants. Forget the roses and chocolates and fancy gifts. She just wants to marry you and spend the rest of her life with you.�
�I want the same thing.�
�So do something about it.� Nickolas stopped at a red light and looked at his little brother. �I�m not telling you what to do I�m just making a suggestion that I know you want.�
�Yeah.� He sighed. �I was an idiot.�
�Yeah.� Aaron grinned. �Did you listen to that CD I sent you?�
�Yes I did; more than once.�
�And is that why you decided to make things right?�
�Sort of. I was planning on it before I listened to the CD, but the CD just pushed me to do it. I should�ve realized how much she was hurting before I heard that stupid song.�
�It�s better late than never.�
�I just hope it�s not too late.�
�It�s not.� Nickolas looked at him. �Trust me.� Aaron grinned and Nickolas just continued driving and not saying anything.
