The next day, Venus was out driving. She found herself outside Kevin�s house and she stood there looking. After a few moments of just looking she walked up the steps to the front door. She waited another moment then rang the doorbell. Her mind was hoping he wasn�t home, but her heart was hoping he was. She waited about half a minute before the door opened. She looked at Kevin, as he smiled.
�Hi, Kevin.�
�Hey, V. Please come in.�
�Thanks.� She stepped inside.
Kevin shut the door and as they walked to the dining room, he asked, �What brings you by?�
�Well, um�uh�there�s something I�d like to talk to you about.�
�What is it?� He sat at the table. �Sit down please.�
�I guess it kind of involves us.� Kevin just looked at her. �What I�m trying to say here is that I have feelings for you. I�ve had these feelings for you for the longest time. I just never had the nerve to tell you.�
�I�m flattered.� She looked at him. �Really I�m not sure what to say.�
�I knew it. You don�t like me.� She went to walk out.
�Wait a minute.� She stopped, but didn�t look at him. �It�s just the opposite, I do like you.� Venus slowly looked at him, as he walked over to her and took her hands. �I didn�t think, well wasn�t sure if you liked me the same way. I was hoping you did though.�
They stood there smiling at each other. After a few moments of silence, Venus said, �Would you like to have dinner sometime?�
�I�d love that. I�m not doing anything tonight.�
�Neither am I.�
�How about we go to dinner and a movie, my treat.�
�If you�re buying then yeah.� They laughed. �This is truly amazing.�
�Yes it is.�
�But there�s something I still need to do.�
�What�s�� She quickly kissed him before he could finish. The kiss lasted for a few minutes before they pulled away. They looked at each other just as the phone rang. �Hold on a minute.� Kevin picked up the phone. He talked for a second then looked at Venus. �I need to take this call. Do you mind waiting?�
�Not at all. I�ll wait in the parlor.�
�Thanks.� They both smiled and Venus walked out of the room.

Destiny and Alexander laid in bed that afternoon. Neither of them were saying a word, but were reflecting on what they just done. Neither felt guilty about their afternoon love making and had smiles on their faces.
Destiny looked at Alexander and said, �That was fun. Do you want to do it again?�
�I don�t think I can,� Alexander said. �You have me worn out.�
�Whatever, Alex, we�re only up to the fourth inning.�
�And we have dinner plans with the others later. So we should get ready.�
�Let�s do it one more time.�
�Are you addicted to sex?� He got out of bed.
�No.� She looked at him strangely.
�Just checking. If you�ll excuse me I�m going to get a shower.� Alexander went into the bathroom and shut the door. Destiny laid on the bed for about ten or fifteen minutes wondering about Alexander�s attitude. She didn�t think about it long when she heard the doorbell. She quickly got dressed and went downstairs.
She opened the door and saw Sunshine and Nickolas standing there. She left them in and they walked to the kitchen. She got them drinks, as she asked, �What brings you guys by?�
�We were in the neighborhood,� Sunshine replied.
�Where�s Alex?� Nickolas asked.
�In the shower,� Destiny replied. �He should be down any minute. He�s getting ready for dinner tonight.�
�I forgot all about that,� Sunshine stated smiling. �I think it�s because all I�m thinking about is the wedding.�
�You�re so lucky,� Destiny said.
�Yes I am,� Sunshine agreed. �Because I�m marrying the sexiest man in the universe.� Nickolas just smiled and looked at her. �I forgot, you�re not sexy.�
�Alex is sexy,� Destiny replied.
�Yes I am,� Alexander said stepping into the kitchen with only a towel around him. �Hey, guys.�
�Hi, Alex,� Nickolas said, as he saw Sunshine checking out his best friend. �Sunnie.�
�What?� Sunshine questioned not looking at Nickolas.
�Do ya mind?� Nickolas said, but Sunshine didn�t take her eyes off Alexander. �I�m warning you, if you don�t take your eyes off Alex we�re not getting married in February.�
�I�m sure, Nicky,� Sunshine said.
�Quit fighting,� Destiny said. �You guys are getting married in nine months.�
�We�re not fighting,� Sunshine said. �Nicky�s just being jealous.�
�I am not,� Nickolas said.
�Yes you are,� Sunshine replied. �You�re jealous, because I�m checking out Alex. Believe me, Nicky, I don�t want him. I�m marrying you aren�t I?� Sunshine and Nickolas continued to argue while Alexander and Destiny just ignored them.
�How was that shower?� Destiny asked putting her arms around Alexander.
�Refreshing,� Alexander replied. �I suggest you go take one.�
�I just might. It�d be even better if you joined me.�
�I can�t. We have company.�
�Fine. Then I�m going to get a shower.� She kissed him then left the kitchen.
Alexander looked back at Sunshine and Nickolas who were still arguing and said, �So how�s the wedding plans coming along?�
�Great,� Sunshine replied looking at Alexander again.
�You�re doing it again,� Nickolas said.
�Oh just shut up will ya,� Sunshine rebutted.
Sunshine and Nickolas watched, as Alexander started to take off his towel. Nickolas leaned over the table and covered Sunshine�s eyes with his hands. It was bad enough that she already seen Brian and he didn�t want her to see Alexander too. Alexander looked at them and Nickolas just shook his head. Alexander removed the towel all the way to reveal a pair of boxers. Nickolas took his hand away from Sunshine�s eyes and she just looked at him. Sunshine smiled and gave Nickolas a kiss.
�I knew you guys were here so I decided to make you think I had nothing on underneath,� Alexander said laughing, as Sunshine got up and went to sit on Nickolas� lap.
�Your legs are so skinny,� Sunshine stated, as Alexander looked at her.
�You have a lot of room to talk,� Nickolas said taking his hand up her leg. �Yours are even skinnier, but I still love you.�
�I love you,� Sunshine said, as they kissed.
�Guys,� Alexander interrupted. �Not on my time.� He sat down.
�Sorry,� Sunshine apologized. �So how�s it going with Destiny?�
�Alright I guess,� Alexander replied.
�You guess,� Nickolas said. �What�s up with that?�
�Can you keep a secret?� Alexander asked.
�Yeah,� Sunshine and Nickolas replied getting closer.
�To be honest with you,� Alexander began, �I think Des� a nymphomaniac.� Sunshine started laughing and Alexander just looked at her. �What?�
�That�s funny stuff,� Sunshine said still laughing.
�Why do you think that?� Nickolas asked then thinking about his question he said, �Never mind the question. So all she wants is sex.�
�Half the time,� Alexander said.
�Sucks to be you,� Sunshine said still laughing.
�Will you stop laughing?� Nickolas requested.
�It�s funny though,� Sunshine replied, as she smiled. �But what are you going to do, Alex?�
�I don�t know, because I�m in love with her,� Alexander answered.
�But you don�t want to have sex with her 24/7,� Nickolas said for him. �Correct?�
�Yes,� Alexander said.
�So talk to her about it,� Sunshine said. �Nick and I talked about sex and we agreed on waiting until we�re married.�
�Was this before or after you did the deed?� Alexander asked.
�Who said we did?� Sunshine and Nickolas questioned in return.
�All the signs are there,� Alexander said, as Sunshine and Nickolas looked at each other. �That�s what I thought. Plus Nick has a tendency to go around and whistle the �Happy Days� tune after he gets laid.�
Sunshine looked at her fianc� and he just shrugged and she said, �So that�s why you do that.�
�Thanks, Alex,� Nickolas said.
�That�s so cute,� Sunshine gushed and kissed him.
�Guys, guys, guys,� Alexander said and they looked at him innocently.
�Anyway, me and Nick have nothing to do with you and Destiny�s situation,� Sunshine replied. �Just talk to Des about it. I�m sure she�ll understand.�
�You guys are still here,� Destiny said stepping into the kitchen.
�We were just leaving,� Nickolas said. �We need to get ready for dinner.�
�We�ll see ya later,� Sunshine added and her and Nickolas left.
�Those two are so cute together,� Alexander said. �They�re so in love. It�d be a tragedy if they split.�
�Yes it would be,� Destiny agreed.
�I�m going to go get dressed.� He got up.
He was ready to walk out when Destiny said, �I love you, Alex.�
Alexander turned and said, �I love you too.� They just smiled at each other then Alexander left the kitchen.
