After dinner, Nickolas took Sunshine to the outskirts of Paris. He wanted the mood to be perfect when he asked Sunshine the big question. After some looking around he had found the perfect spot. It had a stream flowing nearby and was very beautiful under the starry sky. Almost as beautiful as Sunshine was.
They continued walking along and Nickolas said, �You are absolutely gorgeous under the stars.�
�And you�re absolutely insane. Why�d you make me wear this stupid dress? I am freezing not that you care though.�
�I�m nice and warm.� He smiled at her.
��I�m nice and warm while my girlfriend�s freezing her ass off. I�m being so considerate today since its Valentine�s Day�.�
�And a nice ass you have.� She just glared at him. �Will you stop complaining? You look sexy in that dress.�
�Did it ever occur to you that it�d be below zero?�
�Did you stop and think that I�ll keep you warm?� They approached the spot and Sunshine looked around.
�Nicky, it�s beautiful.� She kissed him. �Is this why we didn�t have desert at the restaurant?�
�Guilty. I wanted us to have desert in private.�
�Then why not get a hotel room or something of that sort?�
�I wanted someplace where I could hold you really close to me. Closer than I do indoors.�
�You always think of yourself.�
�Do not.� They sat on the blanket. �What have I done for you today?� Sunshine just looked at him and smiled. �I filled your room with red roses, I give you a rose every hour, I gave you four at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I made you breakfast in bed. I fed you strawberries all afternoon. I took you to the most expensive restaurant in Paris and did I miss anything?�
�You forgot the necklace and kissing me every two seconds.� Nickolas kissed her.
�If you�re not spoiled then I�m not doing something right. Open the basket.� Sunshine kissed him first then opened the basket. Inside she found four roses, a bottle of champagne, two champagne glasses, a thing of strawberries, and a bag of wild berry skittles. She looked at Nickolas and smiled.
�All my favorite things except something was missing.�
�What�s that?�
�You.�
�Then let�s fix that right now.� Nickolas kissed her and she straddled him. For the next few minutes they continued kissing and Nickolas made sure he kept Sunshine warm. He unzipped her coat, for easier access, and put his hand between her thighs and started to caress her.
�Mmm�� Nickolas just smiled and kissed her, but continued caressing her. �Nick��
�Didn�t I say I�d keep you warm?�
�Yeah, but what about you?�
He just smiled and she opened his coat and undid his pants. She put her hand in his boxers and grabbed him. She pulled it out and rubbed the head of it, as Nickolas moaned. She stayed in rhythm with his caresses for several moments then stopped. Nickolas watched her, as she got up and left her panties fall to the ground. He smiled, stuffing them in his pocket, as she straddled him again and he slowly eased himself inside. They started moving in rhythm right away and he kissed her. They rocked back and forth, whispering each others names in ecstasy.

�Don�t stop.� Nickolas just smiled and engulfed her mouth in a kiss, as his orgasm started to hit its peak.
�Come with me, Sunnie.� They looked at each other smiling and started rocking faster. They just gazed at each other for the next moment or so and Nickolas bucked his hips, burying himself deeper inside her, as his orgasm hit him. She came with him and they called out each others names. Nickolas smiled at her and kissed her. They stayed like that, with Nickolas inside her, as their moment of passion subsided. �I love you.� Sunshine just smiled and he kissed her. Sunshine stopped the kissing and got her panties out of Nickolas� coat pocket. He pulled out of her and tucked himself back in, as she stuck her panties back on.
She straddled him again and they kissed. They kissed a moment then she stopped it and said, �I could kiss you all night.� She kissed him again. �And fuck you all night.� She kissed him yet again. �But for now pour me a drink.� She handed Nickolas the champagne and she held the glasses. After he was done she handed him his glass and she started to eat a strawberry. She didn�t finish it and gave the other half to Nickolas. He watched her, as she opened the bag of skittles.
After a moment of watching her eat them, Nickolas asked, �Do I get any or are you going to sit there and eat the whole bag yourself?�
�Get your own bag.� She turned to where her back was against Nickolas. He got the extra blanket and put it over them. Nickolas wrapped his arms around her, as she fed him skittles.
He kissed her temple and asked, �Are you warm enough.�
�I am now.� She smiled seductively and kissed him. �Nicky, is there a real reason you brought me here?�
�Since I can�t lie to you there is.�
�What is it?�
�You really want to know?�
�Yes, please.�
�How bad?�
�So bad that if you tell me I will let you do bad things to me all night.�
�Don�t tease, Sweets.�
�I�m not.� She looked at him and he saw how serious she was and he smiled.
�Then I�ll tell you.� Nickolas took the stuff out of Sunshine�s hand and as he stood up he pulled Sunshine with him. He put his hands in his pockets then got a disgusted look. Sunshine just looked at him confused, as he started searching himself
Sunshine bent down while asking, �Do you know what you�re looking for?�
�I know exactly what I�m looking for.� Sunshine started the music. �Found it!�
�What is it?� She stood up and it started playing Boyz II Men�s �On Bended Knee�. Sunshine looked at the radio and then at Nickolas.
Nickolas put the item back in his pocket and took Sunshine�s hands. He looked in her eyes and said, �Sunnie, I love you with all my heart and soul. I fell in love with you the second I saw you and never wanted anyone after that. I fell deeper and deeper with each passing moment that I saw your gorgeous face and I still fall deeper and deeper.� Sunshine just looked at him smiling. �I wasn�t going to give up until I had you in my life. Now that you are in my life I�m still not going to give up, because there is still something I need to do yet. And it�s got to be tonight.� Nickolas took the box out of his pocket. As he opened it he got down on bended knee and showed the object to Sunshine.
�Nick�� She looked at the ring made of two diamond dolphins on a gold band and covered her mouth.
�I know it doesn�t compare to the ring Brad gave you, but will you marry me? Will you do me a huge favor by becoming my wife and an official member of the Carter Clan?�
�YES!� She kissed him and knocked him over. �Yes! Yes! Yes!� She continued kissing him. �A trillion times yes. I would love nothing more than spending a lifetime with you. I love you so much, Nickolas Gene Carter.�
�I love you, Sweets.� They kissed again. �You just made me the happiest man in the universe.�
�Then stick that baby on my finger.� She sat up and took her gloves off. She looked at the ring on her left hand that Bradley gave her and Nickolas watched, as she moved it to her right hand. She held out her left hand to Nickolas. �Put that bugger on there.� Nickolas did as she requested and replaced Bradley�s ring with his own. He watched, as Sunshine held up her hand and looked at the ring and smiled.
�Let me see how it looks.�
�It�s beautiful on my finger. It�s as if it was only made for me.� She kissed Nickolas.
�It was made just for you.� Sunshine looked at him. �I had it specially made just for you back in March, but I had to wait until September to get it. When I got it you were kind of with Alex and not talking to me.�
�I am now and I love you.�
�I love you more.� They kissed.
�Do you know what this means?�
�What?�
�That I have to tell everyone right now.�
Sunshine got up and started walking to the car. Nickolas got up and ran after her. He grabbed her by the waist and spun her around to face him and said, �Not now.�
�Why not?�
�Because this is our time.� He kissed her.
�But��
�No buts�although you have a nice one.� He grabbed her ass then picked her up. He put her over his shoulder and started walking. �We haven�t been alone for a long time.� He set her on the blanket. �I�ll keep you here until morning it I want.�
They sat down and Sunshine said, �You can keep me anywhere and anytime just as long as you�re with me.� She wrapped her arms around him. �I love you.�
�And I love you.� He kissed her.
�This is cause for celebration.�
�What do you have in mind?� She just smiled and undid his pants again.
