Nickolas and Sunshine stood by the pool table in the game room. They were the only ones in there and Sunshine was beating Nickolas. And couldn�t be having anymore fun than doing so. Nickolas didn�t care who was winning just as long as he got some time to be with Sunshine�the woman he loved and wanted to have babies with. He looked at her, as she took her turn and got another ball in the whole. She smiled and looked at him.
�Who�s winning, Nickolas?�
�You tell me, Sunshine.� He looked at her again then at her butt.
�Are you looking at my ass?� She looked at him before taking another shot.
�Of course not.� He smiled in guilt.
�Whatever. Get over there where I can see you.�
�If that�s what you want.� He slapped her ass, as he walked around the pool table.
She just looked at him then took her turn. They watched as the ball missed the hole and Nickolas started his turn. He lined up the ball and stick and went to shoot, as Sunshine said, �I�m going to break up with Alex.�
Nickolas missed his shot and looked at her. �When?�
�Soon�maybe today.�
�Why today?� He stood up straight, as they looked at each other. �And in Paris? This is the City of Love.�
�Exactly; the City of Love. Alex is in love with Destiny and I�m in love with you.� Nickolas just listened to her closely. �I don�t want to waste anymore of my time away from you, Nicky.� She walked towards him. �For the past three years I�ve been trying to figure out what I wanted. It was in front of my face the whole time, but I was too blind to see it.� Nickolas still didn�t say a word. �The truth is, that night we shared on the beach I realized what I wanted and who I wanted. I didn�t say anything, because I wasn�t ready, so I left my hormones take over.�
�But you got scared the next day.�
�Yes I did. I was afraid you wanted to hear those three little words I didn�t want to say at the time. When we were in Europe I thought by asking you to marry me would substitute me saying the actual words and you would know.�
�I think I know where this is headed.�
�Let me finish. Right now I�m ready to say something you�ve been waiting to hear from me since we met and if you ruin this moment you may never hear me say them to you.� Nickolas stayed silent and just smiled. Sunshine took a deep breath and looked at him, �I love you, Nick. I always have and always will.� Nickolas continued smiling. �Don�t you have something to say to me in return?�
�I�m taking in this wonderful moment. Let me enjoy it.� Sunshine sat on the pool table while she waited. Nickolas looked at her still smiling, as he sat beside her. �Sunnie�� They looked at each other. �I love you.� He took her hand.
Sunshine just smiled, as she gazed deep into Nickolas� baby blues and touched his face. There was no denying that love. She could see it. Nickolas could even see it for the first time, as he looked into her eyes. They studied each other a moment right before they kissed. They wrapped their arms around each other and laid back on the pool table. Neither noticed the door open or even heard it.
They stopped kissing and quickly sat up when they heard Alexander, �Sunn, Nick�dinners done.� The three of them looked at each other. �Sorry I interrupted. I�ll leave ya alone.� He winked and backed out of the room, closing the door.
Sunshine got off the table and said, �I�ll be back.� Nickolas watched her walk out and smiled.

�Des,� Sunshine said, as her and Alexander stood in front of her. �Alex and I just got done talking and we came up with a solution that�ll make us all happy.�
Destiny looked up from the book she was reading and sat up on the sofa. She just looked at Sunshine and Alexander, as they stood arm in arm in front of her. Looking at them confused she asked, �What are you talking about?�
Sunshine took her hand through the air and said smiling, �Timeshare.� She chuckled and Alexander looked at her smiling. Destiny wasn�t at all amused.
�It�s very simple you see,� Alexander began, �we agreed not to see each other anymore since we�re��
�All the old paintings on the tomb/they do the sand dance don�t ya know/if they move too quick, oh way oh/they falling down like a domino�� Nickolas sang walking into the room and they all looked at him. �All the bazaar men by the Nile/they got their money on a bet/gold crocodiles, oh way oh/they snap their teeth on your cigarette/Foreign types with the hookah pipes say/way oh way ohhhh way oh way ohhhh/walk like an Egyptian�� They all looked at each other, as Nickolas did the Egyptian dance and they tried not to laugh at him. �The blonde waitresses take their trays/they spin around and cross the floor/they got the moves, oh way oh/ya drop your drink then they bring you more/all the school kids get so sick of books/they like the punk and metal band/when the buzzer rings, oh way oh/they walkin� like an Egyptian/all the kids in the market place say, way oh way ohhhh way oh way ohhhh/walk like an Egyptian�� He did the Egyptian dance again and Sunshine, Alexander, and Destiny couldn�t help but laugh at him and he looked at them.
�Oh my God,� Sunshine said through laughter.
�I can�t believe you know that song, dawg,� Alexander stated still laughing himself.
�The Bangles are the original rock sex kittens,� Nickolas replied and they just continued laughing. �So what�s going on?�
�Come here and find out,� Sunshine said, as Nickolas walked over to her and she took his hand. �Go on, Alex.�
�As I was saying before interrupted with a free concert,� Alexander began, �Sunn and I aren�t going to see each other anymore. Sunn�s in love with Nick and I�m in love with you�Des.�
�You are?� Destiny asked surprised while getting up. �You�re in love with me?�
Alexander left Sunshine go and took Destiny�s hands and said, �As unbelievable as it may sound, it�s the truth.�
�I�m in love with you too, Alexander James McLean,� Destiny said throwing her arms around him and kissing him.
�So we�re free to be together?� Nickolas questioned Sunshine.
�For the rest of our lives,� Sunshine answered with a smile. Nickolas smiled in return, as he put his arms around her. �Just as long as you don�t start singing any Hanson songs.� He grinned and gave her a kiss, as Alexander and Destiny stopped. �I�m hoping Alex will be in good hands.�
�You know he will be,� Destiny said.
�I better be,� Alexander said.
�Where is everyone?� Sunshine asked.
�Howie and Josephine finally left the comforts of the fireplace and went for a walk,� Destiny began, �and the others are in the dining room playing a game or whatever. I really don�t know.�
��K,� Sunshine said, as Nickolas put his hand up the back of her shirt. �Stop it.� She pushed his hand away. �Is there any food left?�
�Lots,� Destiny said.
�Good, because I�m hungry,� Sunshine said.
�Well if ya ate instead of running after Alex,� Nickolas stated and Sunshine glared at him.
�Well if I didn�t then you wouldn�t be able to do this�� She grabbed him and kissed him.
She stopped the kiss and Nickolas said, �Ok ya made your point.� She smiled.
�So what I�m thinking here is that, Des, you�ll want to probably share the same room as Alex, because you wouldn�t want another hot woman rooming with your man. Am I Right?�
�Yeah,� Destiny said.
�And it�ll be a lot easier when ya want to shag,� Sunshine added.
�Of course,� Destiny and Alexander said and Destiny added, �You can have my room since ya can�t share with Nick since his roomy is Brian.�
�I didn�t want to room with Nick anyway,� Sunshine snickered, as Nickolas turned her around and kissed her.
�Let�s go move you,� Alexander said to Destiny and putting her over her shoulder.
�They gon� shag,� Sunshine said.
�We could too,� Nickolas said smiling then kissing her again.
�I would love to dance with you, but I want to eat.� She grabbed his hand. �Eat first move later.�
�Then shag.� Sunshine looked at him and he just smiled and winked.
