�Did you see my black strappy shoes?� Josephine asked.
�No,� Sunshine said.
�Then can I wear yours?�
�I�m wearing them. Don�t you have other shoes?�
�Yeah, but they�re the only ones that go with this dress.�
�I haven�t seen them.�
�Never mind.� She got up. �Destiny has them. I�ll be back in a few.�
�I hope you plan on putting something over that.�
�What�s wrong with it?�
�Don�t you think it shows a little too much cleavage?� Josephine looked at her then at her dress; black with a V cut out in the front.
�Not really.�
�Right.� Sunshine rolled her eyes.
�I�ll be back in a flash.�
�Whatever.� Josephine walked out and Sunshine shook her head.
�I won�t try anything with your boyfriend while you�re gone.� She chuckled and got her shoes from the closet. �I highly doubt that dress will get Nicky into bed.� She sat on her bed a couple minutes later and began to put her shoes on when she heard the doorbell. She was ready to call for Josephine, but remembered she was gone. She grabbed her other shoe and left the bedroom. She limped to the door, as there was a knock and she opened it. As she lifted her head she just stood there and smiled.
�Hi, Sweets.�
�Hi, Nicky.�
�May I come in?� He leaned against the doorframe just looking at her. �Or do I have to eat my supper out here?�
�Maybe I�ll make ya eat it out there.�
�Why would you do that?�
�No specific reason.� She smiled. �It�s just that you�re a distraction.�
�I�m sorry, but since that�s the case may I come in?� He gave her his side smile, she found rather sexy, and smiled herself.
�I guess.� She walked away and went down the steps, as Nickolas walked in and shut the door. He joined Sunshine in the parlor, as she sat down and put her other shoe on and he sat next to her.
�Where are the others?�
�Brad�s not here yet and Jo went to get her shoes off Des.�
�So it�s just me and you.� He kissed her neck. �I can live with that.� He continued kissing her neck.
�And we�re both taken.� She got up. �Remember that.� Nickolas grabbed her waist before she could walk away and pulled her onto his lap.
�You weren�t saying that the night on the beach.� He tightened his hold.
�We weren�t with anyone. If I remember correctly, you had just broken up with Destiny and I had just gotten back from Australia.�
�That�s right. How was it down under?�
�Fun.� He pushed her hair behind her shoulders and kissed her neck.
�I bet not as fun as what we did on the beach.� Sunshine only looked at him and grinned. �Admit it, Sunnie, you enjoyed it. You enjoyed it just as much as I did.�
�You better have enjoyed it. I didn�t expect for me to be a pro at it since it was my first time. I was��
�Very fantastic.� He kissed her and laid her back on the sofa.
�What are you doing?� She stopped him from kissing her.
�Whatever you want me to do.� He went to kiss her. �I can go down under if ya like.� He smiled and teased her lips with his tongue. She sighed and opened her mouth and left him enter. They started caressing each others tongues and Nickolas put his hand up her dress. He went to put it in her panties and she pushed his hand away and stopped the kiss.
�Stop please.� Nickolas just looked at her and she pushed him off her. She got up and Nickolas watched, as she fixed her dress and went to the kitchen.
He looked through the opening of the parlor and kitchen and said, �Nothing stopped you when I was with Danielle.� He got up and walked to the kitchen.
�You weren�t with her.�
�What about when I was with Destiny?�
�I didn�t know you were with her.
Nickolas looked Sunshine up and down and asked, �Did I tell you how sexy you look this evening?� Sunshine only turned her head to look at him. �You look very sexy in that little green silky strapless sexy dress that shows off every curve of your nicely fine sculpted body. When God made you he definitely had me in mind and broke all the rules.� He smiled.
�You don�t need to use flattery with me.� Nickolas pulled her to him and wrapped his arms around her. �And we shouldn�t be standing here like this either.�
�Why not?� Nickolas asked kissing her.
�Because we can�t.� She kissed him in return and wrapped her arms around his neck. �It ain�t fair to Brad and Josephine.�
�They�ll never know.� She started backing up, but he stayed with her. They stopped when Sunshine�s back hit the counters edge. Nickolas caressed Sunshine�s back and then put his hands on her hips. He took his hands up her sides and then down to the bottom of her dress, as they continued kissing. He started moving his hands up her dress then stopped and put his arms back around her waist.
�Don�t stop.� She put Nickolas� hands back on her thighs. �Keep going.�
�Are ya sure?�
�Uh huh.� She put her arms around his neck again.
Nickolas did as she requested and took his hands up her thighs and dress. He stopped at her waist and picked her up. She held onto him, as he sat her on the countertop. She wrapped her legs around him and he said, �You�re so amazingly sexy.�
�And you�re excited. Not that I�m complaining.�
�You make me excited.�
�I�m glad.� They continued kissing. �Ain�t that my job?�
�If ya want it to be.� His mouth found her neck and he kissed it gently then worked his way down.
�Oh God, Nick, don�t stop.� He smiled and continued kissing her. Sunshine found the bottom of Nickolas� shirt and put her hands inside. She took them over his chest and then around his back. She knew how wrong it was, but didn�t care. She could have both Nickolas and Bradley, couldn�t she? They were both amazing�in and out of the bedroom. Nickolas covered her lips, as her hands found his butt and she brought him closer to her. Damn she wanted him. She didn�t want to wait until they were both single again, but she didn�t want to cheat on Bradley. Damn it there has to be a better way, she thought, this can�t be wrong. Her hands worked their way to the front of his pants and she undid his belt. She undid his pants also and she slipped her hand inside. Nickolas just looked at her, as she started moving her hand. �I want you.�
�Sunnie�� He kissed her just as there was a loud knock and the stove timer went off. �Ah�fuck.�
�Damn it.� She quickly pulled her hand out of his pants and pushed him away. She turned the stove off and washed her hands, as Nickolas redid himself. There was another knock, as Sunshine got the lasagna out and they looked at each other. They stood there a couple seconds then Sunshine dropped a glass on the floor. It shattered from the hit and she bent down and picked up a piece of the glass. Nickolas watched, as she took the piece of glass to her hand and then he saw the blood.
�What the fuck are you doing?� He pulled her to her feet and grabbed the piece of glass from her; making her cut herself more.
�Ah!�
�What the fuck, Sunnie?� She just looked at him and grinned, as they looked at the blood coming from her hand. He looked at her disgusted and she walked from the kitchen. Nickolas followed her and she went back the hall, as the door opened. Nickolas looked and saw Bradley walk in.
�Doesn�t anyone answer doors?� Bradley asked.
�Um�� Nickolas had no idea what to say. �I was helping Sunnie��
�Bradley, you�re finally here,� Sunshine interrupted and walking over to him and hugging him.
�I�m glad to see you missed me too,� Bradley said returning the hug. �May I have a kiss too?�
�Mmm�yeah, I guess,� Sunshine said kissing him and Nickolas glared until the door opened.
�Hey, Nick,� Josephine said closing the door. �Sorry I kept you waiting. I hope you weren�t waiting long.�
�Not that long,� Nickolas said, as Josephine kissed him and Sunshine and Bradley stopped.
�Did you get your damn shoes?� Sunshine asked interrupting them.
�Yes I did and I�m happy now,� Josephine replied.
�Good,� Sunshine said. �Well dinner�s done.� She began to walk while wrapping her hand up and Bradley pulled her back. �What?�
�What happened to your hand?� Bradley wanted to know.
Sunshine looked at Nickolas then at Bradley and said, �I, um, dropped a glass and I was cleaning it up and a piece slipped out of my hand and cut me.�
�Are you all right?� Bradley asked concerned.
�Yeah,� Sunshine replied. �It�s no big deal. I just rinsed and bandaged it up.� She walked to the kitchen and the others followed her.
�Is that what took you so long to answer the door?� Bradley asked.
�Yeah,� Sunshine said opening the cupboard. �I was cleaning up the mess and Nick was getting the food out and that�s when I cut myself.� She looked at Bradley and smiled, as she set the table.
Bradley stood behind her and put his arms around her waist saying, �You look gorgeous tonight, but why didn�t you wear something blue?�
�Well I got this dress a few weeks ago,� Sunshine began, �and I never wore it yet. It�s been hanging in my closet.�
�Alright,� Bradley said.
�May I finish here please?� Sunshine asked.
�Yes you may,� Bradley replied kissing her neck and walking away.
