Sunshine stood in her bedroom, as she got ready to meet the girls at the beach. She just finished getting her swimsuit on when there was a knock at the door. She sighed and yelled, �Josephine, get that!�
�I�m in the bathroom!� Josephine yelled in return.
�Ugh!� Sunshine moaned and ran out of her room in just her swimsuit and her shorts in her hand. She got to the door and looked through the peephole. She grinned and opened the door. �Brad, Nick, what a surprise.�
�Nice way to greet your boyfriend,� Bradley said then Sunshine hugged him.
�Well I just thought you were coming home next week,� Sunshine stated. �That�s what you told me anyway.�
�Well things went rather well so we got done early,� Bradley said.
�Right,� Sunshine said. �Come in.� She moved to the side. �Josephine!�
�My ear,� Nickolas said putting his hand over his ear, as he and Sunshine smiled at each other.
�Sorry,� Sunshine said shutting the door.
�Do you always answer the door like that?� Nickolas asked, as both guys whistled and she smiled.
�We�re getting ready to go to the beach,� Sunshine replied. �I was in the middle of changing and Josie was indisposed.�
�You can open the door to me like that any day,� Bradley said smiling and Nickolas glared at him, as Sunshine smiled. �Where are the other girls?�
�They moved out,� Sunshine said. �They�re living in an apartment about a half-mile away.�
�I knew you wouldn�t last,� Nickolas said.
�Josephine!� Sunshine yelled again while putting her shorts on. �Your boyfriend�s here!� Nickolas just looked at her, as she said, �I�ll go see what she�s doing. I swear to God if she�s putting make-up on�� She sighed disgustedly and walked away.
�I�m glad I got the greeting I was hoping for,� Bradley said. �Did I miss something while I was gone?�
�I�m sure it�s nothing,� Nickolas said, but hoping it was something. He sat on the sofa and made himself at home. �Maybe when she comes out she�ll give you a proper greeting.� Bradley just looked at him then sat down and deep down Nickolas was hoping it would be him Sunshine gave the proper greeting too.
�I don�t understand why you need to put fucking make-up on, Josephine!� Sunshine yelled walking from the hall. �We�re only going to the beach and nothing you do will make you as hot as me!� The two guys laughed and Sunshine walked into the kitchen and looked through the opening. �I don�t understand why she needs make-up. She has a boyfriend so why does she need to impress? She�s make-up obsessed. She�s been that way since she was old enough to wear make-up.�
�Maybe she feels naked without it,� Bradley said and Sunshine rolled her eyes then disappeared.
�Hey guys,� Josephine said, as she walked into the parlor and walked over to Nickolas. �Hello, Nickolas.� She gave him a kiss just as Sunshine walked out and the phone rang.
�I�ll get it,� Sunshine said interrupting the kissing couple. She walked over to the sofa and picked up the phone. She sat down beside Nickolas and said, �Hello.�
Josephine just looked at her then sat on the opposite side of Nickolas and asked, �How was Sweden?�
�From what we saw when we weren�t working,� Nickolas began, �it was great. It�s a beautiful country. I suggest you go there someday.�
�Maybe we can go together,� Josephine said.
�Maybe,� Nickolas replied.
�Then, Nick,� Bradley began, �you won�t be able to look at those Swedish Babes.�
�What about Swedish Babes?� Sunshine asked hanging up the phone.
�Nick was looking at them while in Sweden,� Josephine said.
�No I wasn�t,� Nickolas said and Sunshine just smiled.
�Anyway,� Sunshine said. �That was Des. They�re not going to the beach now. On their way there they met up with Kevin, Alex, and D and they�re going to spend the day with them.�
�So Des finally asked Kev out,� Josephine said.
�I don�t think, because she was going to spend the day shopping upstate,� Sunshine replied.
�She better soon ask him,� Josephine said. �She�s just been wanting to do it since July.�
�You weren�t supposed to tell us were you?� Bradley questioned.
�No,� Josephine said. �Just like I ain�t supposed to say anything about Brad writing the alphabet on Sunn... using his tongue I might add.�
�What?� Bradley asked confused.
�Josephine,� Sunshine warned then looked at Bradley. �It�s a long story. I�ll explain later.�
Nickolas just looked at Sunshine and she looked at him shaking her head, as Josephine said, �That�s right, it �never happened�, I keep forgetting that.�
�That�s because it never happened,� Sunshine and Bradley said in unison.
�Whatever,� Josephine said. �Save it for Oprah.�
�Will you please leave my condo," Sunshine said getting up. �Now you made me forget what I was going to do.�
�Perhaps I can refresh your memory,� Bradley said looking up at her and Nickolas glared at him.
�No,� Sunshine said getting ready to walk by him, but sat on his lap instead. �I remember what I wanted to do now.� She smiled then kissed Bradley, as Nickolas continued glaring. �Welcome home.� She kissed him again.
�Get a room,� Josephine said.
�Need I remind you that this is my condo,� Sunshine said. �I can do whatever I want in it. So if kissing my boyfriend or yours offends you so much you know where the door is.� Nickolas smiled at her.
�Are you kicking me out?� Josephine asked.
�Why would I do that?� Sunshine asked in return.
�You wouldn�t,� Josephine said. �Unless I do something to make you kick me out.�
�Exactly,� Sunshine said, as the phone rang and she got up and answered it.
�She wouldn�t kick me out anyway,� Josephine said.
�Josephine, telephone,� Sunshine said. �It�s your other boyfriend.�
�Funny, ya dike,� Josephine said taking the phone and walking away.
�Excuse me,� Bradley said. �I need to use the little boys� room.�
�Don�t let us stop you,� Sunshine said, as Bradley walked away. She sat in Bradley�s seat and put her legs over the arm while looking at Nickolas. �What�s wrong?�
�Nothing,� Nickolas said.
�Yes there is. You�re thinking I actually left Brad do that to me. Well I didn�t, so stop your worrying.�
�I�m not.�
�Whatever.� She rolled her eyes. �Like it should matter to you any who I let make me squeal. I mean after all you�re screwing Josephine, my best friend.�
�Excuse me?�
�Don�t play dumb with me.�
�I have no idea what you�re talking about.�
�Do you really want me to believe you? I know she seen ya. She said she walked in on ya in the bathroom, but I know better than that. You never leave the bathroom door unlocked when you�re in there.� Nickolas just looked at her. �If ya didn�t screw her then you�re leaving the damn ho do something else.�
�Jealous?�
�No; it just pisses me off.�
�Why?�
�Because it does.� They looked at each other. �I really hope you�re not planning on sleeping with her, because Howard already had her and God only knows who else.�
�I don�t plan on sleeping with her. Especially now.� She looked at him then at his wrist. �Nice bracelet.� Nickolas just looked at her and they both smiled.
�You noticed it from over there. You have great vision.�
�Well, I got it for ya. Idiot.� Nickolas just looked at her. �Nicky, I could notice you from a mile away.�
�That�s very flattering.� He looked at the gold I.D. bracelet that matched Sunshine�s and had on it Sunnie Luv�z Nicky. He looked back at Sunshine and said, �Since you�re wondering when I opened it, it was the day after we��
�Had sex.� He just looked at her. �Why didn�t I ever see it before?�
�I was carrying it around in my pocket. I stuck it on over in Sweden.�
�Hello,� Josephine interrupted. �I�m back.�
�So when are you meeting your boyfriend?� Sunshine asked, as Nickolas smiled at her.
�In a few years,� Josephine said. �Do you want to do something Nick?�
�Sure,� Nickolas replied, as Josephine pulled him up off the sofa.
�Why don�t you two come back here and we four can have supper together,� Sunshine suggested. �I was thinking about making lasagna.� She smiled at Nickolas.
�We could do that,� Nickolas said, as Josephine agreed.
�Great,� Sunshine said smiling.
�Sunnie makes the best lasagna,� Nickolas stated.
�Of course I do,� Sunshine said and Nickolas smiled. �That�s why I suggested it, because you love it.� They smiled at each other. �What time is it?�
�Almost two,� Josephine said.
�Can you be back here about six?� Sunshine asked.
�Sure,� Nickolas and Josephine agreed.
�Alright,� Sunshine said. �You two go have some fun, but not too much fun.�
�Later,� Josephine said pulling Nickolas to the door.
Sunshine watched Nickolas and Josephine leave. She sat there smiling and very pleased with herself in persuading Nickolas and Josephine to come back for supper. As long as I can see Nickolas, she thought, I�m a happy little girl. She sat there and continued smiling, as Bradley rejoined her.
�What�s with the smile?� Bradley asked standing above her.
�No reason,� Sunshine lied continuing to smile and she pulled him down for a kiss. �We�re alone.�
�Yeah.�
�Yeah; so what do you want to do?�
�What do you want to do?�
�Anything with you.�
�Ok.� He pulled her up and then put her over his shoulder.
�Bradley.�
�Sunshine.�
�What the hell are you doing?�
�There is a hot tub at my place that�s calling our names.�
�Ok, but we just have to be back by, like, five.�
�Why?�
�Because I invited Nick and Jo back for supper together.�
�Whatever.� He carried her to the door and walked out.
