The girls sat at the condo out on the balcony and waited for the Boys. They never heard the door open or the sound of footsteps walking through the condo. The girls continued talking and laughing, until Destiny noticed a shadow fall upon them. They didn�t move or turn around until the object made a sound and the five girls jumped up screaming and trying to hide behind each other.
�It�s all right,� Danielle said folding her arms across her chest, as she noticed who it was. �It�s just Nick and Alex.� The girls calmed down and watched the five guys stand there and laugh. They just stood there looking at them in disgust and pushed them out of the way, as they went back inside. The Boys continued laughing, as the girls sat down on the sofa. They sat there a few moments and the door opened and they looked to see Bradley.
�Hey,� Sunshine said.
�Hey,� Bradley said walking over and sitting next to her. �I didn�t know you had company.�
�Neither did I until a few minutes ago,� Sunshine said giving him a kiss and Nickolas glared at him. �So what gave you the right to come into my condo without knocking? I ain�t dating any of you.�
�We were just trying to have some fun,� Alexander replied.
�Well, we could�ve had knives and guns and shit and thinking you were an intruder could�ve killed you,� Venus said. �And I for one don�t want that on my conscience for the rest of my life.�
�Sorry, Baby,� Alexander apologized giving Venus a kiss.
�Awe, how cute,� Josephine said. �I wish I had a boyfriend.�
Sunshine watched her look at Nickolas and smile. She looked at Nickolas herself, as he looked at her and smiled. She smiled in return and they both looked at Josephine, as she smiled at Nickolas. Nickolas smiled at her in return and then looked at Sunshine and raised an eyebrow. Sunshine looked back at Josephine, as she continued looking at Nickolas, and glared at her.
�Sunn, are you all right?� Bradley asked looking at his girlfriend.
�Yeah,� Sunshine replied. �Why?�
�No reason,� Bradley said noticing the suitcases on the floor. �Are you leaving?�
�Huh?� Sunshine said confused.
�The suitcases,� Bradley said.
�They�re the girls�,� Sunshine replied. �They�re moving in. Ain�t that great?�
�Yes it is,� Alexander replied smiling. �Now I can see Venus everyday.�
�How wonderful,� Venus said sarcastically then smiled at Alexander to show she was only joking.
�When was this decided?� Howard asked.
�We decided awhile ago,� Venus said. �But made it official when Sunn visited.�
�This is really great,� Sunshine said. �I�ll be living with my four best friends. How long do you think it�ll be before we start killing each other?�
�I say a week,� Nickolas said.
�I�ll give it two,� Kevin said. �But it�ll probably be less than that.�
�I say by the time we get back from working on the album in Sweden,� Brian began, �at least three of these girls will be living somewhere else.�
�Hopefully in an apartment in the bad part of Orlando,� Sunshine snickered, as everyone looked at her. �I�m kidding. Take a joke.�
�When will you be back?� Destiny asked.
�Mid-September hopefully,� Kevin replied. �We leave next week.�
�So Des�V only has a week to spend with Alex,� Josephine replied, as Destiny gave her a dirty look.
�Such a pity,� Danielle said joking around.
�You only have a week to spend with Howie,� Sunshine said. �And I feel terrible. It makes me want to break out the tissues.�
�Oh shut up,� Danielle said.
�Make me,� Sunshine said, as they laughed.
�So, V Baby,� Alexander began, stopping Sunshine and Danielle before they got into a fight, �what are you doing tonight?�
�Nothing,� Venus replied. �How about you?�
�Hopefully spending it with you,� Alexander said.
�What do you have in mind?� Venus asked.
�Dinner, dancing, you and me alone,� Alexander began, �what do ya say?�
�Let�s go,� Venus said getting up. �See ya later.�
�Hmm, wonder what they�re going to do,� Sunshine stated.
�Probably something you�d like to do,� Destiny began, �but ain�t going to do until you find Mr. Right and are happily married.� Sunshine and Nickolas just looked at each other and Destiny said, �Unless you two��
�No way,� Sunshine and Nickolas quickly said.
�I think you did,� Josephine said.
�I think not,� Sunshine stated getting up.
�C�mon you two,� Josephine said. �You can tell us. We�re all among friends.�
�You�re boyfriend has a right to know if you slept with someone else,� Destiny said.
�It�ll only be fair,� Danielle said. �Because I�m sure you know he did.�
�There�s nothing to tell,� Sunshine said looking out the window. �So forget it.�
�Well, Nick ain�t saying anything,� Howard began, �so something must�ve happened. What is it Nicky?�
Sunshine looked at Nickolas wondering if he was going to lie or tell the truth. She just listened as Nickolas looked at her and said, �Nothing happened between us. Sorry to disappoint you guys.�
Sunshine gave Nickolas a smirk and said, �There, you heard it straight from the second party�s mouth.�
�I still think something did,� Josephine said. �Too bad Alex ain�t here; he�d be having loads of fun with this.�
�Why is our sex life everybody�s business?� Sunshine questioned angrily. �We don�t ask about yours so why ask about ours.�
�Touchy, touchy,� Brian said, as Bradley walked over to her.
�I don�t care about it.� Bradley said. �I just care about you.� He gave her a kiss then hugged her, as she and Nickolas looked at each other.
�Well, I�m going to go,� Kevin said after seeing the looks between Sunshine and Nickolas. �I think I�ve worn out my welcome.�
�Not at all, Kev,� Sunshine said. �You�re always welcome here.�
�I was going to get something to eat anyway,� Kevin said then looking at Josephine. �Would you care to join me?�
�Not at all,� Josephine replied.
�Her curfew is twelve midnight,� Sunshine stated jokingly. �Not five seconds after.�
�Yes, ma�am,� Kevin said playing along. �Howie, would you and Miss Danielle like to join us?�
�We�d love to,� Danielle said, as they got up.
�Twelve midnight,� Sunshine said, as the four went out the door.
�I�m going to my room,� Destiny said getting up and walking away, as Sunshine, Nickolas, Bradley, and Brian watched her. �Anyone calls I left town with Brad Pitt!�
�I wonder what her problem is,� Sunshine said.
�I don�t know,� Brian said. �But I�m out of here.�
�See ya,� they all said, as Brian walked out.
�Listen I have a couple errands I need to run,� Bradley stated. �Do you want to tag along?�
�No, that�s alright,� Sunshine said. �I�m going to clean this place up some like I was planning on before I got sick. It looks like a hurricane went passing through.�
�Alright,� Bradley said. �I�ll be back and I�ll make ya supper.�
�That�d be great,� Sunshine said. �I�ll pick something out.�
�Ok,� Bradley replied kissing her then walking away.
Sunshine watched, as Bradley went out the door then looked at Nickolas who was still sitting in the chair he was in. She took a deep breath then walked out to the balcony. Nickolas joined her a couple seconds later, as she leaned on the banister and looked out to the ocean.
�It got tense in there,� Nickolas said.
�Yes it did,� Sunshine agreed. �I didn�t make it any better when I started flipping out.�
�I was ready to myself.� He leaned on the banister.
Sunshine looked at Nickolas and said, �I actually thought you�d say something that�d make me hate you, but I was wrong.�
�I�ve learned my lesson with you, Sunnie. I�m not going to do anything to make you hate me.� She just looked at him, as he looked at her. �Truth is I thought you were going to say something you�d regret later.�
�No; with you there�s nothing I regret except the fights.�
�Here.� He held something out for her. �I believe this is yours.�
�My bracelet.� She took it from him. �Thank you for holding onto it for me.��
�You�re welcome.� She stuck it on.
�Nick, this will be our secret. Of whatever happens today, in the future, or in the past between us. The stuff the others don�t know, can never know. Promise me?�
�I promise.� They looked at each other and she hugged him.
