Danielle and Destiny sat in a cab on there way to Kevin�s place. They still had no idea where Sunshine was except for Bradley and now Danielle. Danielle had gotten a postcard from Sunshine and instead of just calling the guys and telling them where she was, she decided to fly down and do it in person. She felt it was the right thing to do. Danielle looked at the postcard in her hand and wondered if Sunshine was all right.
Danielle took a deep breath and asked Destiny, �Do you think Sunn�s all right?�
�Yeah,� Destiny replied looking at her. �It�s Sunn.�
�I guess so, but she was really hurting when she left.�
�She�ll be fine, Danielle. She is fine. It says so on that postcard.� Danielle looked at her. �We would know if she wasn�t all right.�
�But we haven�t seen her to know.�
�You worry too much.�
�No I don�t. It�s just that I�ve known Sunn my whole life and know when she�s fine or not. I honestly don�t think she�s fine. You, Nick, Howie, and Jo hurt her a lot and she may never forgive you. If she does it won�t be completely though.�
�Whatever.�
�You�ll get �whatever� when your friendship ain�t the same anymore.�
�Our friendship ain�t going to be any different. When she gets back it�s going to be fine.�
�Don�t speak too soon, Des, ok?�
�Calm down, Dani. Everything�s going to be fine.� Danielle looked at her. �Even Kevin said things will be cool.� Danielle shook her head.
�You�re going to Kevin Richardson�s house, right?� the cabbie asked.
�Yeah,� Destiny replied.
�We�re almost there then,� the cabbie said.
�Thanks,� Danielle said.
�Did you ever see �The Bone Collector�?� Destiny asked.
�Yeah, why?� Danielle questioned and Destiny just looked at her. They looked at each other and then at the driver. The driver looked in his mirror smiling and shook his head.
�This is Orlando and not NYC,� the cabbie said.
�Doesn�t matter,� the girls stated.
�Do you want me to stop and let you out?� the cabbie asked.
�Yes,� the girls said together and the cabbie pulled over.
�That�ll be $20,� the cabbie said and the girls handed him money. �Thanks. Enjoy your stay at Kevin Richardson�s.�
�We will,� Destiny said, as they got out. They watched the cabbie drive off then looked at Kevin�s house. �Hopefully they�re all together.�
�Well it looks it,� Danielle said pointing to the vehicles and they walked up to the house. �Maybe this ain�t a good idea to tell them.�
�Sure it is,� Destiny said nodding. �They need to know.� Danielle only shrugged and knocked on the door a couple times, as the five guys came from the side of the house. Danielle held up the postcard she had in her hand.
�Where is she?� they all asked.
�Somewhere in Australia,� Danielle said. �She said she�s fine and she�ll be back soon with a surprise.�
�Why didn�t ya just call us?� Howard asked.
�I wanted to tell ya in person,� Danielle replied. �I thought it was the right thing to do.�
�When did ya get it?� Nickolas asked.
�Today,� Danielle said. �I got home from work and it was lying on my bed.�
�Luckily for us we have tomorrow off,� Destiny said. �So we decided to come down.�
�And you�ll take the jet back tomorrow,� Kevin said. �You girls spent enough money coming down here. From now on when you want to come down you call and we�ll send the jet.�
�Maybe we should go to Australia to find Sunn,� Alexander suggested.
�She wants to be left alone, Alex,� Brian said.
�What if the surprise she has is that she got married,� Alexander stated. �She is 23 so maybe she�s tired of waiting for Nick.�
�She�ll be 23, she didn�t get married, and she�ll always wait for Nick,� Danielle replied.
�Hello his girlfriend�s standing right here,� Destiny said. �Do ya mind?�
�Come to think of it,� Danielle began, �you hurt Sunn just as much as everyone else did.�
�How�s that?� Destiny asked.
�By going out with Nick when you swore to her you wouldn�t,� Danielle said. �Because of knowing how she feels about him.�
�That�s when I was with Brian,� Destiny said. �I swore I wouldn�t go out with anyone else.�
�But she made you swear on the Bible that you�d never ever go out with Nick,� Danielle pointed out. Destiny just looked at her and then at Nickolas, who seemed to be in a daze. The guys walked away knowing it was none of their business. Brian started looking at the magazine in his hand, as three guys approached.
�Hey guys,� Kevin said. �What brings you by?�
�It�s LFO,� Destiny whispered to Danielle and she just rolled her eyes.
�Wondering if you found Sunn yet,� Devin replied.
�All we know is that she�s in Australia,� Kevin said and Bradley looked at them.
�Nothing else?� Bradley asked, as Kevin shook his head.
�Oh my God,� Brian said staring at the magazine. �No way.� They looked at him. �It can�t be.�
�What is it?� Howard asked, as Brian handed him the magazine and he looked at it. �No way.�
Alexander stood beside Howard looking and said, �She�s looking pretty hot and tempting right now.� By then everyone, but Nickolas, was looking at the magazine.
They had to call Nickolas� name a few times, but when he looked, Kevin handed him the magazine and said, �Look at that.�
�Behind the scenes of �A Summer To Remember� with Jonathan Taylor Thomas and up-n-comer Sunshine Robinson,� Nickolas read out loud. �What about it?� He looked at the others then at the magazine again. �Sunshine Robinson!� Nickolas looked at the pictures and saw Sunshine. He just stared for the longest time then said, �This is what she�s been waiting for.�
�I bet that�s why she�s in Australia,� Brian said and Bradley just looked at them not saying a single word. �And that�s her surprise.�
�I�m so proud of my Sunnie Jo,� Danielle stated.
�It�s a horror flick by Wes Craven,� Nickolas said. �It�s about two college girls, Sunnie and Julia Stiles, who get to go on a trip to Australia, for the summer, that was arranged by a local TV station. But the summer getaway ain�t what they expected when people start turning up dead and they end up on the recipe for murder.�
Danielle took the magazine from Nickolas and started reading, �Jonathan Taylor Thomas plays �Shawn�, a spoiled rich boy whose father sends him down under for punishment. He then becomes the object of Sunshine�s �Krymson�s� affection, but could this Australian summer romance turn out to be a deadly fling.�
�That sounds cool,� Alexander said taking the magazine from Danielle. �She looks hot.�
�One more comment like that and I�ll slap you,� Danielle warned. �Don�t test me either.�
�I�m just being honest,� Alexander said.
�Nick, can we go somewhere to be alone?� Destiny asked putting her arms around him.
�Sure, whatever,� Nickolas replied getting out of his daze.
�Can we go to the beach?� Destiny asked.
Nickolas just looked at her then said, �I�m not in the mood to go to the beach right now.�
�Alright,� Destiny said a bit confused. �We can go someplace else. We�ll see ya�s later.� Everyone just waved, as Nickolas and Destiny walked away.
�I have to go or I�ll be late for dinner,� Howard said. �I�ll see ya tomorrow.�
�Later,� Kevin said and Howard left.
Danielle watched, as Howard got in his car and drove off then said, �Guys I didn�t want to say anything in front of those three, but Sunn called me.�
�When?� Brian asked.
�The other week,� Danielle replied. �She said her leaving has nothing to do with us, but with Josephine, Nickolas, Howie, and Destiny.�
�So you�ve known for awhile where she was,� Alexander said. �Why didn�t you tell us?�
�She made me promise I wouldn�t tell anyone she called,� Danielle replied. �She never said where she was.�
�At least we know where she is now,� Kevin said. �That�s the important thing.�
�I�m glad she ain�t mad at me,� Alexander said. �I can understand her being mad at Jo and D, but why Nick and Des?�
�Destiny broke her promise she made about never going out with Nick,� Danielle began, �and she really didn�t say why she was mad at Nick. All she would say was something about him pushing her away. Whatever that means.�
�At least we know it�s not because of us,� Alexander said.
�Do you have a place to stay tonight?� Kevin asked.
�I�m going to ask Nick if we can stay at the condo,� Danielle replied.
�Why Nick?� Bradley asked.
�Because he�s the only one with an extra key,� Danielle replied. �Unless you have one.� Bradley just looked at her. �You do.�
�And I promised her I wouldn�t let anyone in,� Bradley explained. �And I�m not going to.�
�You can stay with me,� Kevin said. �Because Destiny will most likely stay with Nickolas.�
�Whatever,� Danielle said, as they saw Howard�s car pull in again and he got out.
�What brings you back, D?� Brian asked.
�I was wondering, Dani, if you would like to have dinner with me and my parents tonight,� Howard said.
�Well, since ya came all the way back,� Danielle began, �the least I can do is say �yes�.�
�Then shall we go,� Howard said giving his arm.
�I�ll be back,� Danielle said taking Howard�s arm and they both walked away.
�Lucky guy,� Richard said finally talking.
�Do you guys want to stay and watch the game?� Kevin asked.
�Sure,� they said, as they all went inside.
