The girls were back in Pennsylvania and they sat at Destiny�s house. They were in the parlor watching �Dirty Dancing�; Sunshine�s choice, and getting popcorn all over the place. Sunshine looked at the girls and sighed, as they looked at her. They waited for her to say something and when she didn�t they looked back at the television.
�Guys,� Sunshine said and they all looked at her. �I�ve been thinking and I don�t think I�m going to come home after our next visit with the guys.�
�Are you serial?� Josephine questioned. �You don�t even have a job or a place to stay.�
�Me and Howie talked about that,� Sunshine stated. �And he said that if I decided to move down to Florida I can stay with him until I get a job and a place of my own. I am 21 and I think it�s time I go in my own direction.�
�It sounds like you�ve had this planned for awhile,� Venus replied, as Sunshine nodded. �The rest of us are 21 and we�re not thinking about moving to Florida or anywhere else.�
�Because you think it�s a sin to leave Pennsylvania,� Sunshine said and they just looked at her. �I�m nothing like you guys. That�s the thing. I don�t want to spend the rest of my life in Pennsylvania. I already wasted 21 years here and I ain�t wasting another 21.�
�How long have you been thinking about this?� Danielle asked.
�Awhile,� Sunshine replied. �Probably about a year now.�
�Does this have anything to do with Nick?� Destiny questioned.
Sunshine looked at her and said, �This has nothing to do with Nick. Nick is not a part of my life anymore.�
�I still can�t believe you did that to poor Nick,� Destiny said. �He�s such a great guy.�
�Danielle, I can�t believe you�re going out with Alex,� Sunshine said changing the subject.
�Since January,� Danielle replied. �He�s really sweet.�
�So is Kevin,� Josephine said smiling.
�I think we just lost her,� Destiny stated.
�Josephine, please come back to us,� Sunshine begged. �We miss you.�
�Just like we�ll miss you if you move to Florida,� Josephine said. �You�re my best friend. Who will I tell my thoughts to?�
�Did you hear of a telephone?� Sunshine questioned. �They really work.�
�You�re funny ya geek,� Josephine said. �Move to Florida if that�s what you want to do.�
�Fine I will,� Sunshine said.
�Why don�t we move to Florida also,� Destiny suggested.
�You just want to be closer to Brian,� Venus said.
�That too,� Destiny said. �But think about it. It�ll be a great opportunity for us. We�ll most likely find a job since we can�t find any up here.�
�She has a point,� Venus agreed.
�I already talked to my parents and they support my decision,� Sunshine stated.
�If it�s something you really want to do,� Danielle started, �then I�ll support your decision.�
�Thanks,� Sunshine said. �I appreciate it.�
�No problem,� Danielle said. �I have to go though. I told Alex I�d be home.�
�Of course,� Venus said. �Everything�s Alex with you these days.�
�Nick�s everything with you,� Destiny replied laughing, as Sunshine just looked at Venus.
�I don�t think so,� Venus stated. �Nick�s not my type, but he�s Sunn�s and she�s his.�
�Will you just drop it about me and Nick,� Sunshine snapped. �It�s been over a month, it�s getting really old, and I�m with Howie now. I apologized to Nick for what I did to him so why don�t you just stay out of it.� After she was finished the girls just looked at her, as she got up and left the room. They waited about a minute then heard Sunshine�s Durango.
�I think she�s mad at us,� Josephine said.
�Ya think,� Danielle rebutted. �Actually she�s mad at you three, because I didn�t say a word. You were always yelling at her and telling her to get over Nick. She�s finally trying to do that and you�re yelling at her for doing so. Yes she made a mistake in the way she chose to get him out of her life and she regrets that. Now by being with Howie is the way she wants to get over Nick then I say leave her alone. She�s trying to handle it the best way she can.�
�By leaving like she did,� Josephine began, �goes to prove that she still has strong feelings for Nick. She�s in love with him.�
�She�ll always have feelings for Nick,� Danielle said. �And she�ll always love him just like you�ll always love Howie and Sunshine knows that.�
�Then why is she going out with him?� Josephine questioned.
�The same reason you�re going out with Kevin,� Danielle, Venus, and Destiny said and Venus added, �Because she likes him.�
�I�m out of here,� Danielle said. �Alex will soon be calling.�
�We�ll see ya later,� Destiny said.
�Yeah, later,� Danielle said leaving the room.
�Maybe we should take to heart what Dani said,� Destiny replied. �Now she just might move down there regardless of what we say.�
�Oh my,� Venus said. �You�re right. We should make it up to her.�
�What do you suggest?� Josephine asked, as they just sat there looking at one another.
