�Not really,� Brian joked putting his arm around Destiny. �What about you, Bone?�
�None,� Alexander replied.
�Funny,� Josephine said, as they walked into the parlor and saw Danielle, Nickolas, Venus, and Howard sitting there. �Hello you crazy lovebirds.�
�The movie was great,� Destiny stated. �Today�s such a wonderful day for love. Wouldn�t you all agree?�
�The most romantic part was when the guy confessed his love for the girl,� Josephine said in awe, as Nickolas got up and left the room. �Was it something I said?�
�No,� Danielle said getting up and leaving the room.
�I cried my eyes out at that part,� Destiny said. �If Sunn saw it she�d still be crying.�
�She did see it,� Venus said. �She, Kevin, Nick, and Dani went the other day.� Destiny just looked at her confused then went back to the movie. Venus looked at Howard and asked, �Do you want to go someplace else?�
�Sure,� Howard replied.
�Hey, where�s Kev and Sunn?� Alexander asked.
�Nick said something about Sunn storming off and Kevin going to find her,� Howard replied and he and Venus left the room.

�I think I blew any chance I had with Sunnie,� Nickolas said.
�What happened?� Danielle asked.
�I decided it was time for me to come clean and tell Kevin how I felt about Sunnie. But Sunnie made sure I didn�t get a chance to tell him.� Nickolas told Danielle everything from the time he arrived at Kevin�s to the time Sunshine stormed off and Kevin going after her. They both stood there and Nickolas said, �I ruined everything I ever had with Sunnie.�
�I wouldn�t say you ruined everything with her. She just needs some time to clear her head and take time to think about what you said to her, how you feel about her, how Kevin feels about her, and most importantly how she feels about you and Kevin.�
�I�m an idiot.�
�You got that right. You�re a bigger idiot since you said all that when she�s trying to figure out what�s really going on. Is she that important to you for you to take a chance and ruin your friendship with Kevin?� Nickolas just looked at her not saying anything. He knew he didn�t have to say anything, because Danielle already knew what he was going to say. �Just give her sometime and space. You two have something that could never be lost or ruined or even denied.�
�You think so?�
�I know so. You�re love or whatever it is for each other is something special. I noticed your connection the first time you met and no one or nothing could come between it. She likes you too, Nick, but she�s just too stupid to admit it and tell you like you did. When she�s ready she will. You�ll just have to wait.�
�What if I can�t?�
�If she�s important to you like you say, you will.�
�She is important to me. She�s special too. There�s something about her I love that my other girlfriends didn�t have. Am I boring you?�
�Not at all. Nothing exciting is going on in my life. I don�t mind helping you with your problem. Besides, what are friends for?�
�Hey,� Kevin said, as he and Sunshine came up on the patio. �How�s it going?�
�Fine,� Danielle said. �And you two?�
�Good,� Kevin replied, as his phone began to ring. �If you�ll excuse me.� He opened the patio door and went in with Sunshine behind him, but Danielle grabbed her arm pulling her back outside.
�What?� Sunshine asked.
�I just want to know if you�re all right,� Danielle replied. �Nick��
�Told ya what happened,� Sunshine finished for her. �Why ain�t I a bit surprised? Perhaps you�d like to tell everyone else.�
�Sunnie, that ain�t fair,� Nickolas said getting up and standing beside Danielle.
�I didn�t tell Kevin if that�s what you�re wondering,� Sunshine said. �I decided to spare him the pain of his best friend�s betrayal.�
�You have a part in this as much as I do,� Nickolas said.
�Nick, shut up,� Danielle said, as Sunshine went inside. �Didn�t I tell you not to say anything to her? Is it that hard for you to understand the female language? Or don�t you understand English period? Maybe I should translate for you.�
�I�m sorry,� Nickolas said. �I just thought��
�Well you thought wrong,� Danielle said, as the patio door opened. �Sunn, what brings you back?� Sunshine looked at Nickolas, as he looked at her.
�I need to talk to Nick,� Sunshine replied. �If that�s alright.�
�He�s all yours,� Danielle said. �I�ll just go inside.�
Danielle went in and Sunshine said, �This ain�t going to take long.�
�What�s on your mind?� Nickolas asked.
�I just want to apologize for earlier. It was wrong for me to yell at you like I did. You didn�t deserve it. You�re right; Kevin should know how you feel about me.�
�No, you�re right. I shouldn�t tell him, because it�ll hurt him and what I said to you I shouldn�t have. I most likely ruined things between us and I�m sorry I did.�
�No.� She sighed and leaned on the banister. �You just shouldn�t have said it right now, ya know.� He nodded in understandment. �I don�t hate you for it so don�t worry.�
�I know.� He stood beside her and they looked at each other. �I told you how I felt about you, but how do you feel about me?�
�I don�t think now is the time or place for me to tell ya how I feel. Kevin�s right inside.� He sighed. �Can we just be friends until I get everything all figured out that�s going on with me?�
�I guess that�ll do for now.�
�Thanks.� She hugged him and he hugged her in return, as Kevin watched from inside.
