�Good morning sleepy heads,� Sunshine said. �Glad ya could join us.�
�Good morning,� Nickolas said yawning and Sunshine smiled at how cute he was when he woke up. �What are you doing?�
�Making breakfast,� Sunshine said. �Would you like some?�
�I�ll have some pancakes,� Nickolas answered. �If ya don�t mind.�
�Jo, what would you like?� Howard asked.
�I�ll have pancakes also,� Josephine replied.
�What would you like to drink?� Sunshine and Howard asked in unison.
�Orange juice for me,� Josephine said.
�Milk here,� Nickolas said. �It does the body good.�
�And that it did,� Sunshine said turning around and Nickolas smiled.
�Give us ten minutes,� Howard stated turning back to the stove.
�Does she always make breakfast?� Nickolas asked.
�No,� Josephine replied. �She usually eats a bowl of cereal if she eats at all. Sleeping by the fireplace must�ve done something to her brain. But at least I don�t have to make me anything to eat. I could live with this.�
�Same here,� Nickolas said looking at Sunshine. �She is so amazing.�
�He is so hot,� Josephine said not realizing what she was saying. �Look at that ass and those arms�wow! I love having them wrapped around me.�
�Are you talking about Alex or Howie?� Nickolas questioned, as Josephine just looked at him. �Well which one? I won�t say anything.�
�Do you promise not to tell?�
�I swear.�
�Truth is I was talking about Howie.�
�What about Howie?� Howard asked looking at them.
�Um�we were just saying how you�d rather make breakfast than watch cartoons in the morning,� Josephine lied. �And how you talked Sunn into helping you.�
�Actually it was my idea,� Sunshine said not looking at them and messing with the pancakes.
�Right,� Josephine said.
They all stayed silent for a few minutes before Sunshine yelled, �Dude, Howard, get the hell out of here. You just screwed up my pancakes.� Howard started laughing and Sunshine pushed him away. �Now I got to start all over ya damn pervert.�
�I didn�t do anything,� Howard rebutted.
�Whatever,� Sunshine said. �You just took the spatula to my nice pretty pancakes. If I can�t get them pretty again there�ll be hell to pay.�
�I�m scared,� Howard said.
�You better be,� Sunshine said then looked at Nickolas. �It�s going to be a little longer, Nicky. I hope you�re not that hungry.�
�Take your time,� Nickolas replied not caring just as long as he could stay in the same room with her for as long as possible. �I have no where to be.�
�Ok,� Sunshine said turning back to the stove. Except locked in a bedroom with me and making hot steamy passionate love all day and night, she thought to herself and smiled. She stood there another ten minutes making Nickolas� pancakes and then took them out of the pan and stuck them on a plate. She walked over and put them in front of him. �Here you are, Nickolas.� They looked at each other and she smiled. Nickolas smiled in return and looked at the heart-shaped pancakes she made him. �Enjoy.�
�Do I get a fork?� Nickolas asked.
�Eat with your fingers,� Howard joked, as Sunshine got Nickolas a fork.
Sunshine handed Nickolas the fork and he said, �Thanks.�
�You�re welcome,� Sunshine said.
�Are you two eating?� Nickolas asked.
�We already did,� Howard replied. �If you�ll excuse us we have dishes to do.�
�Ya wouldn�t want Kevin to walk in and see the pile then skitz out on everyone,� Sunshine said.
�No we wouldn�t,� Nickolas said, as Howard took Sunshine�s hand and pulled her over to the sink while Nickolas and Josephine watched them.
�They seem to be awful chummy,� Josephine stated. �Do you suppose they�re secretly seeing each other behind Kevin and V�s back?�
�No way,� Nickolas replied. �They�re not seeing Kev and V anyway.�
�Right,� Josephine said. �But if they were do ya think they would?�
�Again no way.�
�Why not? She kissed you.�
�Because her and Kevin aren�t an item. She considers herself single.�
�Right.�
�Morning, Ladies,� Alexander said stepping into the kitchen. �Josephine, Baby, you look gorgeous this morning.� He joined her and Nickolas at the table and before sitting down he gave Josephine a kiss. �I smelled the food walking downstairs and I had to come investigate. So do I get any chow?�
�Talk to those two,� Nickolas said with a mouthful of pancakes and pointing to Sunshine and Howard. �They�re the ones who made ours. Oh, Sunnie, do I get any milk?� She looked at him. �Please?�
�Coming up,� Sunshine said getting a glass and walking to the refrigerator. She poured Nickolas some milk and walked over to him. She set it down and they just looked at each other a moment. �How are the pancakes?�
�Delicious,� Nickolas said. �Just like the cook.� Sunshine just smiled and Alexander looked at them and raised an eyebrow.
�So, Sunnie,� Alexander began using her nickname since it worked for Nickolas, �you�re looking beautiful this morning.� He smiled and she looked at him.
�What would you like, Alexander?� Sunshine questioned.
�Some eggs and bacon,� Alexander answered, as Brian walked in. �I�d like them over easy.�
�Would you like anything, Brian?� Sunshine asked. �If so let Howie know.�
�How about some French toast, D,� Brian replied.
�Coming up,� Howard said, as the others walked into the kitchen together.
Sunshine and Howard made Alexander and Brian their breakfast, as Danielle, Destiny, Venus, and Kevin walked into the kitchen. They got their breakfast order and made it, while Nickolas and Josephine continued with the dishes.
After Sunshine was done she walked over to the sink and said, �You don�t need to do that.� She took the dishrag from Nickolas. �We got it all under control.�
�We don�t mind,� Nickolas said.
�It�s our mess so we�ll clean it up,� Sunshine stated.
�Really, Sunnie, we don�t mind,� Nickolas said.
�I need a shower anyway,� Josephine said. �Sunn, give me the keys so I can go to the motel and get our things.�
�Why don�t ya just go to the sofa,� Sunshine suggested. �In there you�ll find your bags.�
�How�d it get here?� Josephine wondered.
�Magic,� Sunshine said. �Me and Howie went��
�Howie and I,� Kevin corrected her and Sunshine looked at him.
�Me and Howie went to the motel �tis morn,� Sunshine answered. �While you were off in dreamland dreaming of Chippendale�s and Showgirl�s.� Kevin just looked at her. �You don�t mind if we shower here do ya? I already took the liberty of checking us out this morning.�
�Not at all,� Kevin said. �I told ya�s before, make yourself at home. That includes showering and whatever else it is you do. Don�t ever ask me again.�
�Yes father,� Sunshine said pushing Nickolas out of the way so she could finish with the dishes and he smiled at her.
�Don�t get smart,� Kevin said joining her and Nickolas.
�Whatever,� Sunshine said washing the dishes.
�I do have a dishwasher,� Kevin pointed out.
�Your point is?� Sunshine asked. �Didn�t ya ever hear of the old fashioned way? There is nothing wrong with doing the dishes by hand.�
�Alright,� Kevin said putting his dishes in the sink, as the others did so also and then they all left the kitchen except for Sunshine and Nickolas.
�You rich people are so spoiled,� Sunshine said.
�You can be too,� Nickolas stated and Sunshine looked at him. �I wouldn�t mind being the one that does it either.� Sunshine just looked at him and smiled, as he smiled in return.
