Timeless History

In 1987, we became interested in the Collie breed.  While not yet having a Collie, we attended shows with my sister, Tracey Williams and her husband, Roger Williams of Fairview Collies to watch and learn.  Tracey was determined to get us started the right way, by teaching us what was correct and where to start.  We were lucky to have her guidance, she insisted we start with the right dogs.

We purchased "Korey", CH. Highcroft Timeless Courage, in 1989 from Don & Leslie Jeszewski of Highcroft Collies.  He was out of CH. Highcroft Double Dare x CH. Highcroft Quintessence, ROM (currently the top Champion producing Rough Dam).  "Korey" was a beautiful rough sable dog possessing many outstanding virtues, and finished with 4 specialty majors.  We also purchased a sable smooth bitch, "Leggs", CH. Fairviews Sheerly Energized, CD from Tracey and Roger.  "Leggs" finished at 11 months with 4 majors.  We specialed both of them at local shows and never really had a litter until 1993.  We felt we should know more about the breed.  Our first litter was out of "Korey" and "Leggs", producing 2 champions;  "Rudy", CH. Timeless Yesterdays and "Gidget", CH. Timeless Over Energized, ROM (Currently the Dam of 15 Champions).  "Gidget" is owned by Amy Ross and Brian Elwell of Oak Knoll Collies.  "Gidget" has become one of the top Champion producing smooth dams and a foundation bitch for Oak Knoll Collies.

Brian and Amy bred "Gidget" back to CH. Highcroft Oak Knoll Triton, ROM in 1996 and we purchased a smooth sable bitch back who has become the foundation of Timeless Collies;  "Maddie", CH. Oak Knoll's Timeless Reflection, ROM (Currently the Dam of 9 Champions).  "Maddie" finished at 6 months, in 2 weekends, with 3 five point specialty majors.  She also placed first in the 6-9 Puppy Class and was Best Smooth Puppy at the 1997 CCA in Reno.

We planned to breed "Maddie" back to "Korey", only he passed away before we used him again.  We regret only having one litter from him, but never knew what a magnificent dog he was until he was gone.

With "Maddies" first litter we bred her to CH. Twin Acres Dark and Dashing, ROM producing 5 Champions.  From this litter we kept a tri rough bitch, "Monique", CH. Timeless Dancin In The Dark, ROM.

With "Maddies" second litter we bred her to CH. Marnus Golden Ruler, ROM producing 4 Champions to date.  We kept a smooth sable dog, "Hayden", CH. Timeless Golden Warrior, who, like his dam, has become our vision of the standard, possessing the virtues we feel contribute to their success as champion producers as well as specials.  "Haydens" beautiful eyes, set into his lovely head reflect a soft, sweet expression.  With each part being in harmonious proportion, combined with effortless movement, "Hayden" presents a proud impressive picture of true balance.  We are truly proud of his accomplishments consistently ranking in the top 10 and being honored with an Award of merit at the CCA 2002 National.  We anticipate his capabilities as a sire, able to consistently pass on his virtues.  At almost 4 years of age, he currently has produced 8 Champions.

"Maddie" has consistently produced her many virtues, along with her outstanding temperament.  She won the Smooth Brood Bitch Class at CCA 2000 in Wichita under Chip Atkins.  At 7 years of age, she still looks great, and loves playing with any one wholl put up with her.  Shes a beautiful sound bitch with a wonderful outgoing temperament.

"Monique" placed second in the Rough Brood Bitch Class at the CCA 2000 National.  With "Moniques" first litter we bred her to CH. Marnus Showtime producing a litter of 4 Champions.  We bred "Monique" back to "Hayden", producing 3 Champions.  "Monique" consistently produces her outstanding virtues and her wonderful outgoing temperament.  Now with 8 finished, she is our third generation of ROM bitches.  With the coming year we are planning on litters from both "Maddie" and "Monique".

In 7 litters we have consistently produced beautiful rough and smooth collies.  To date we have owned and finished 22 Champions, of the 22, we bred 19, with several still to finish.  We enjoy showing and love the dogs.  We plan to remain a small kennel, we just want to consistently produce outstanding Collies with hopes of continued success into the future.

In addition, we have began handling professionally.  We are enjoying working with dogs from other kennels and look forward to this aspect of our hobby as well as producing beautiful Collies.
