About Timeless Collies
![]()
We are small show/hobby breeders. We have very few litters being limited on the number of those we keep. Several remain with us from each litter, they are trained and socialized, earn their Championship Title and are later offered to show homes or as family companions. Only the very best are retained for breeding. All others are placed on a spay/neuter refundable placement fee. Our Collies are happy, healthy, clean collies accustomed to being in the house as well as outdoors. Timeless Collies has produced top winning collies, rough and smooth, by creating a distinctive look while maintaining the overall balance, breed type and wonderful collie temperament. We have produced three generations of dams receiving the ROM title. (ROM Register of Merit; meaning they must produce a set number of Champions). With each carefully planned litter we anticipate our next great winner, but the real satisfaction comes when we see the joy and love one of our collies gives to a family.
Collies are a gentle fun loving breed requiring interaction with people while enjoying life. Collies love to run and play, requiring a large fenced area for exercising. We expect all of our collies to go to homes with adequate housing, a fenced yard, and request they become a part of the family. Our collies are great in the house as well as outdoors adapting to a variety of environments and lifestyles. Collies by nature, love children and other pets, making them wonderful family companions.
There are a number of Collie publications on grooming and collie care. Our personal favorite is Collie Concept by Bobbie Roos. While all breeds require regular grooming, the Collie is no exception. Collies require regular grooming to keep the coats in top condition. We recommend a rough or smooth collie be combed out at least once every 2 weeks. This keeps them looking their best and they become accustomed to the grooming. Nails and feet should also be trimmed on a regular basis. We also recommend their teeth be cleaned periodically.
We strive to remain small, so occasionally offer puppies and young adults as show or pet prospects to suite their personalities, as well as those we place them with. We hope you have enjoyed hearing more about us and our collies. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have. References are provided upon request.
