Cycling and Bushwalking in Perth and surrounds

Being a Sagitarian, I love getting out into the bush. A couple of weekends a month I go out walking or cycling through the Darling Ranges, to the east of Perth, quite often with the dogs (if allowed). I find the weather is best between May - September, after the first rains have come and before it gets too hot.

I wish I had some maps or trail descriptions to offer but I don't. The WA Department of Conservation and Land Management (CALM) has a nice page which gives some info on trails. My favourites are the Bibbulmun Track and the Hills Forest.
