A normal female trying to live in a competitive world...Okay scratch that! There's nothing sane here...
made it to san antonio seat modifcation God send

The ride to San antonio tx started out good. Until I got past fort Sockton. Those darn cross winds! When I got past Juction the winds were really bad. When I started weaving like crazy I knew I was now too tired to continue and this was in Kerrville about an hour away from san antonio! I was kind of mad at myself. I came all this way just to throw in the towel. But I rather get there late than never. The whole trip inculding rest stops took 12 hours. I stopped in a motel 6 in kerrville at 11:55pm and left at 8AM the next day. I'm glad I modified my motorcycle seat The combo of the memory foam and the gel worked perfectly. Instead of my tail end hurting it just got transfered to my arms and shoulders (But I think it was from dealing with the wind for 3 hours.) But it wasn't as bad as butt burn. But I noticed another side effect I had to stop and pee alot (like 7 times) I think the memory foam is transfering the weight to my badder or something. When I finally stopped at that hotel 6 I was so tired that I had tremors in my arm and shoulder muscles. After adding up the numbers I burnt 10.266 gallons of gas which came out to 53mpg which cost me $19.58 one way (go to www.fuelcostcalculator.com/TripGasprice.aspx to figure out your cost for gas before you go on a trip for vehicles other than cars put "other" and manually put in your mpg).

I made it to my job interview to an ambulance company with 15 mintues to spare. He told me that he mostly need part time people on an as needed basis right now. I told him that I was applying to other companies and that I'll see what happens with them.
After that I went to Sea world who is hiring EMT's. It ended successfully. I got hired! The only thing now is to wait for my drug test and background check to come through. In the meantime I'm going to apply to the other ambulance companies I picked out before hand. From what the HR lady told me Sea World really, really needs EMT's so if your an EMT call Sea World San Antonio at 210-523-3112.

When I get the "Thumbs Up" confirmation from Sea World I'm going to call those apartments I checked out. As for the texas national guard I'll do a few more drills out in el paso texas until I'm more settled in san antonio because techincally I'm still inprocessing with the unit I'm with now and inprocessing and out processing and switching units is a pain in the arse.
At least I can now rest!
