A good day for a tigress(and she's keeping it RRRReal!)
It was a nice 70 degrees today.
I love it when it's warm. I'll miss this weather when I go back to new york. This is the thing I can't stand, why are they interupting my program just so that the president can have his state of the union address? Is what he got to say is so important that every. single. channel have to show the SAME THING????!!! I'm not interested in what he has to say. I don't like politics. I only read about it for edaucational reasons only. The only time politics were fun was when bill clinton was in office. Those good times are gone now. I can't stand politics because it's not about the people anymore. All of those people in office don't represent the common folk. When is the last time you seen an ordinary person that no ties to $$$$$$$$ or people with $$$$$$$$$ run for office. Now the way the rules are set up Mr.(or Ms.)Smith from around the block could run for president. But if "Smith" don't have $$$$$$ or connections, this person is not going to get very far. Add a double wammy if "Smith" is a female, or is not white. And the more money a person has the more detatched from the common people this person risks becoming. That's one of the reasons I don't bother voting. I don't see what these poliaticans are doing. The only poliatican I'll give respect to is Bill Clinton. When he was president things were looking up (at least from my point of view). Jobs were easy to find. Clinton even did a second term after the...incident. Then near the end of his term, everything started started to slow down(again from my POV). I can't say anything bad about our current president because I'm still in the military and he is my commander-in-chief. All I can say is that a lot of people are VERY UNHAPPY with President Bush. There is an old saying "If you don't vote you can't complain". Well I think that's just fluff. I beilieve in the power of the vote. People say "They fought and died for the right to vote". True, but in my opinion, those people died for the right for you to make a CHOICE. It's like going to a store. You see two items and you can buy only one. If you like neither then you walk out and don't buy. That's the way it is for me. I don't like what's available so I not voting until I. see. somebody..... I like. Let me stop now before I say something crazy. "If anything is used too freely it loses its true meaning" Tigoness 2006-02-01 02:58:18 GMT
