I got my Class A CDL permit. The test wasn't too bad. Now here's the hard part the road test.

Getting a Class A CDL license is not like getting a regular drivers license. I checked into truck driving schools and found out that they range from 3,000 to 4,000 dollars.

That is not in my budget. There are some truck driving companies that have their own driving programs. But you have to work for them for almost 2 years for them to pay the money back. As for me I don't work that way. I rather have everything paid for and not having to worry about paying people back. The future is not certain and you don't know what can happen.

So I'm planning to put my truck driving dream on hold for now. Now I'm working on plan B, Getting my EMT-B certification from new york transfered to texas or new mexico. Once I start working again I'll save up the 3,000- 4,000 dollars for the truck driving school.

If plans A and B don't work there is always plan C....the military...
