I was just randomly thinking about all the issues in the world and I realize that it all makes no sense, and I'm sick and tired of the system brainwashing people with "sweet Lies" That's why I'm taking all the lesson's I learned over the years, and combining it into a new belief system that I call "Lemonism".
Why "Lemonism"?. Why not call it a nice high tech holy sounding name? Because Lemonism is religious/Philosophical way of thinking, it is dynamic. I don't want people to get into a rut of take this belief system too seriously, as in "once it's written down it can't be changed" like other religious systems and end up into 5,000 spin-offs. Also Lemons are non-threatening
. I'm talking as if this belief system of mine is going to end up a million strong or something....
Also in Lemonism, you don't have to change your current religion. If you're Chirstian you can be a Lemonist. A Jew...You can be a Lemonist. Atheist? Yeah I guess it can work for them too...
I have so much to write! I'll have all the ideas in my head, I just have to put them down. After I finshed all of my tests for school in the next few weeks, I really be able to put everything down about "LEMONISM". Here is what I have down so far (It's a work in progress).
Name: “Lemonism” or Church Of Sour Truth (C.O.S.T.)
Basic points/ Core beliefs/ Primary teachings: Lemonism is the belief that the only way to truly understand anything in the universe and to better yourself is to get rid of the “sweet nectar of lies” you’ve been fed all your life (this includes socially, Politically, Scientifically, Spiritually, ect.) and taste the “sour lemon” of truth! Then you’ll harvest your reward from the taste of the lemonade of knowledge!
Gods/ goddesses/ demons/ UFO aliens/ other supernatural beings (if any): Lemonism is represented by Lady Citrah, the Lemon Goddess. She’s represents all the God’s and Goddesses out there in the universe who is actually the same supreme being. Lady Citrah is symbolic; She is not meant to be literally worshipped like a traditional Deity. The true name of the supreme being is not known by us mortals, and she/he appears to different cultures in different forms, so it would make no sense to say “Hail Jesus, Buddha, Allah, Krsna, Jehovah…” Having Lemonism represented by “Lady Citrah“, would remind people not to take only one religion or belief system as canon because no one system is totally right, and the only way to better ourselves is to learn from each other.
Appearance: Goddess “Lady Citrah” is Yellow and White. In her left hand Lady Citrah is holding a lemon as if she’s offering it to you. In Lady Citrah’s right hand she’s holding a glass pitcher of lemonade.
