Friday june 9th I went to downtown brooklyn at the Alantic ave mall to do a little shopping. I first went to target to pick up my meds (zyrtec and prednisone) to combat the ragweed later this allergy season. After I picked up my meds from Target's pharmacy (You just gotta love those Target-Red medicine bottles! Plus they come with this cool rubber neck  ring that comes in different colors  so that you won't mix your meds with other people. But I don't have that problem because I live by myself.  I just like how it looks), I walked around the stores electronics department to see if they have the "Underworld Evolution" DVD that just came out. Either Target didn't have it or they didn't take it out yet. So I went to the Circuit City that was on the other side. I went to look for Underworld in the movie section. I didn't see it there either. So I asked an employee if they had it. He told me they have but it's behind the customer service desk.  So I went there.

When I got to  customer service, I saw the Underworld DVD there taking up at least 4 full rows. I thought it was odd that they put it there. If I didn't ask I would of thought Circuit City didn't have it either.  There was about 6 people ahead of me. I thought the employees there was doing sales because I didn't see any one esle at the cash registers. But they weren't. They were just handling customer service issues and you know how long that can be.  I figured the best thing to do is to go up to the front and ask them to give me a copy of Underworld and I go pay it  at a register. When I ask the lady for a copy, she said that there are copies at the  register. I went there and didn't see any. Now I was getting fusrated. Now by this time the line had like 15 people. I looked at the price of the Underworld DVD. I think it said 13.99 but it was too far to read. Then I started thinking, "Why would they put it there? It's not a high value item like an X-box 360, (now I would understand why they would would put that in the back )and it wasn't like the DVD was flying off the shelves with people rushing to buy Underworld." Then I said to myself "This Circuit City has mis-management issues" and then I left and went to Best Buy on 23rd st and 6th ave in Manhattan where the Underworld Evolution DVD was properly displayed in it's own "just released" case. I grabbed it took it to the register and was done in less than five mintues.  Now I did pay a little more for it, but it was worth it. I'll go Best Buy for now on. This is why I don't shop too close to home because I can't stand the service sometimes and it's sad that people put up with it. Now I could of said something, but I was so ticked off at the time that I knew I would of said some things that were not exactly rated-G.

Now my review of  UnderWorld Evolution DVD.

Menu set up- A

Special Features- I found all of them entertaining and informitive. The only thing I didn't like was the Music Video "Her Portrait in Black" by Atreyu.  It was a bit hard on the ears and I could hardly understand what the guy was saying, because he was mostly screaming. It was tasteless

The Movie-I noticed that the Movie looked a whole lot crispier and sharper on the T.V.screen rather then the theatrer. Speically at the end when Marcus is ripped apart by the helicopper blades. In the theatrer it looked like he just exploded but when I saw it again on the DVD, I could see that he just got ripped apart with his remains falling off to the side.

In conculsion I give this DVD over all an A-. And if you buy the DVD from Best Buy it comes with a free Comic based on the movie by IDW comics.
