Tigress In Georgia....

I finally got to Georgia about 7oopm. I'm staying at my cuisins house until monday. We even went out to a movie. I saw "Date movie" and "8 below".  Here's what happened during the rest of my trip.

While I was in Mississippi(did I spell it right?), I caught a headach e half-way through the state.  I was planning to pull over at the nearest rest stop. Then I saw the sign for the nearest rest stop. 100 miles. I wasn't going to last that long. So I pulled over in the service lane. I know I wasn't suppose to do that unless I was having car issues, but my head was trobbing like crazy. So I decided to stay for 15 mintues and then drive on.

So a while later a feeling told me to look up. I look in my rearview mirror and saw blue and white lights. A trooper! For a second I flipped out. All the things my late Grand Ma told me about the south flooded back in my brain, and Mississippi is as deep in the south one could possibly get. The movie "Mississippi Burning" also flashed into my head. I shook the insane thought away. "Get a grip!" I told myself "You been down south a billion times and nothing is going to happen to you"

So anyway the trooper comes up to my truck and says that he saw me from the other side and thought something was wrong, and he tells that I'm not suspose to be here unless I have an emergency. I tell him I know and explain my situation. He tells me that there's a rest stop about 100 miles ahead(which I already knew but I didn't say anything). Then he see's my bags that scream's "I'M IN THE ARMY!!!!!!". Now you know where this was going. We talked for like 30 mintues.  He was very suportive of the troops and all of that.  I thinked him and then I was off. The police out here seem more nicer than the cops up north in my experiance.

I got pulled over by NY police twice and they don't  have a 30 mintue chat with you. They are always trying to get you a ticket. The first time they pulled me over for my brake light being out. Back then I always had a problem with my left brake light it had always flickered on and off because the connection was bad. I tried to explain it to the cop but he gave me a ticket anyway, and told me I had 24 hours to fix the problem or I would have to pay for the ticket. So I went back to the precinct the next day and saw the desk cop and showed her my ticket. I explained to her about the light. She just shoke her head and canceled the ticket for me.  Now when I had went back to texas the light started to act up again. The cop pulled me over but he didn't give me a ticket just a kind warning to get my light fixed.

Well anyway, let me stop rambling before I go into a totally different direction, so the next time I'll blog is when I'm home.
