I got to Louisiana about 3 in the morning, I said I was going to stop driving about midnight, until I saw how much driving I had to do before I leave Texas. I wanted to get out! I was in this state long enough.  I was happy when I saw that "welcome to Louisiana" sign, as if I was in the promise land! About 330, I pulled into one of those Gas stations/convince stores (for trucker mostly you know the ones with the showers) and crashed.

I woke up about 700am. I brought some coffee, and a danish. I strenched out, filled up my 40gallon tank and started driving. I stopped for lunch at a burger-king I got a large veggie-burger meal. My 1st sergeant left a message on the cell asking "Where the hell are you??!!!". I was suppose to call him last night to let him know I was okay  !!I'll  call him after my lunch. When last I saw the sign I think I have a little over 300 miles(?) before I reach Jackson MS.  Well at least I'm out of Texas.
