Hitomi is just a regular school girl who has a crush on the trackteam captain until one night a warrior appears from no where fighting a dragon. She is swept from her world into Gaia, another world that is just beyond Earth and the Moon.

The Warrior that she came with turns out to be Prince Van, future King of Fanelia. During his crowning, an invisible enemy attacks the country and destroys the capital. Van has to flee with Hitomi in his Guymelef (mech battlesuit) and this sets up the plot for justice, revenge, hate and love.
