Adapted from the famous Akira Kurosawa's equally famous film "Seven Samurai". Unlike the original film, this anime is set in the post-apocolyptic setting. A village of farmers, who are very poor, making their living by growing rice. Every year, their village's women and rice are robbed by bandits. This village sends a "water" priestess who looks for samurai willing to defend the village for just rice. The struggle begins as no samurai are willing to get paid so low to defend a whole village from the mighty forces of the brigands.
