1 I spun some Knitting thread. Lucy been dead three years this evening.
25 A beautiful Xmas morn. all gone to Aunt Kits.
26 All of us and Luther’s ate dinner at Lucians today. Luther bought Finis Evans horse.
27 Lucius, Luther, Lucian and all the children ate dinner at Lucas today. Our old home place. We will never all be there again together I guess.

1 Cloudy, I came home from Lucian’s.

2 Clear, Lucius bought 2 brls. flour. Luther’s old Dick horse died today.
3 Blonda Edwards is very sick.
9 Claude, Lizzie & Aunt Kit moved to town. Luther & Kate moved to Aunt Kit’s place. I have
been married 41 years today.
12 The last day of Mr. Sipes school. Velma got the prize - A book.
19 Lando’s 12th Birthday. Della sims baby born last nite.
20 Lucian’s 30th Birthday.
26 Went to Lucian’s. They are fixing to move.

Mar.
1 Lucian commenced work in the store at Gurion today Nita started to move.
3 Kate & Luther stayed here last night. Lucius came back from moving Lucian & Nita.
14 Mr. Hassell preached at Barren Fork today.
15 We got out our 3rd quilt. Lucius bedded his sweet potatoes and sowed oats.
16 Ellis Bone died.
17 They buried Ellis Bone at Barren Fork today.
19 I went and got my Pension papers fixed up.
22 Len & Myrtle came last Friday.
26 Euna Edwards and the Lewis girls all very sick.
30 Euna Edwards died this evening.
31 They buried Euna at B.F. this eve.

4 We finished picking our wool today. Mrs. Holland died last nite. Was buried this eve.
18 Cuba Evans came. Will Delany came to Lucius. We had fish for supper.

11 Rained this morn. Lucius finished the cistern at the church.
22 Mostly clear. Uncle Ab Conyers got badly hurt yesterday eve. Lucian & Nat came.
24 Willie Thompson died yesterday.
26 I went to Lucas. John Conyers came home today on a visit.

3 All went down on the creek to a picnic.
