COLONY HANNA
Colony "HANNA" attacked the South Carolina Myrtle Beach/North Myrtle Beach Grand Strand region around 2:30 AM time frame on September 6, 2008.  While being a night show, not too much in the way of photo ops were present.  Anyhow the colony SHUT DOWN THE GRAND STRAND & OPENED UP SHOP for that Friday evening / Saturday morning time frame.
The first is from the hotel room balcony showing on that Friday evening of September 5, 2008 how the Grand Strand was SHUT DOWN by the FEEDER BOYZ of Hanna
ready to OPEN UP SHOP for Colony's arrival!!!
These first row four pics show the wind deal of the eastern eye wall.  One dissappointing fact was the peculiar scenery of the palms being cut short (groomed) not like the large palm leaves you would see in Florida.
The following morning after the colony proceeded northward towards the Mid-Atlantic region and I started my trek back to Florida, I came across some flooding scenes.  These five were near Florence, South Carolina by route 301, which was dealt the over-running wetter stratiform side of the colony's circulation.
