Island Dragway May/June
This was trip #1 in May. We had the car all loaded up on Dave's trailer and then it rained right before we were going to leave.
I don't have any pics from the 1st trip but I drove the car there and back. I only got 2 runs in that night, the first one I had a great start but due to a fuel problem the car almost shutoff right before I got to the 1/8th mile. On my 2nd pass I ran a 12.9 with traction problems and just didn't get the chance to dial in the car.
Here on our 2nd trip I was lucky enough to have Dave tow me again in the brand new enclosed trailer! But alas I ran worse all night long, 13.0+ every run which I believe was due to tire pressure and then my oiling problem. I had no traction and the car was spewing oil out of the hole near the fuel pump on the block. I'm hoping for better #'s this Friday if the engine doesn't blow up again, it has very little oil pressure at idle and it flucuates a lot while driving.
Here is Chris's Chevelle, he didn't have any better luck either, but the car still looks great...
And here's the only picture that came out on the digital camera, Brian's Mustang which ran some good #'s, 14.2 being the best I think.
