Scripture

but the children of the murderers he put not to death; according to that which is written in the book of the law of Moses, as Jehovah commanded, saying, The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, nor the children be put to death for the fathers; but every man shall die for his own sin.
2 Kings 14:6

Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness. Whoever loves his brother lives in the light, and there is nothing in him to make him stumble

1 John 2:9-10

You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? If you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others?"
Matthew 5:43

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good
Romans 12:17-21

Then Jesus said to him, “Put your sword back into its place; for all those who take up the sword shall perish by the sword. Or do you think that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?"
Matthew 26:52

You shall not murder.
Exodus 20:13
Purpose
The purpose of sighting scripture here is to remind Christians of their place in the world. The modern-day Christian Conservative stance on war is wrong. Calling innocent civilians “collateral damage” is careless and without hope. Giving way to any so called “neccasary evil” is in itself rooted in evil.

Though there may be scripture which can be twisted into sounding pro-war, first remember the Devil twisted scripture to tempt Jesus in the desert, and its important to note, you will not find any scripture in Red Letters which give you the right to kill any man. Jesus was a man of peace, for even when he was called to his death he healed his enemy.

Our battle is no longer one of weaponry, tribes, and dirt. It is a spiritual war. Promote faith, hope and love, peace will come to you, and the truth will make you free.
