People underestimate the power of the mind to fool itself. The highest power is the mind. God is a gatekeeper to the repressed mind in a sense. It is easier to disassociate the power that people give to their god than to take responsibility for it.
Religion is a failure of the self. Spirituality is self-sorcery. Nothing is in existence outside of the self. These are not just pretentious statements; they are reality.
