Roz - "The Reunion" (Part 2) "The Reunion" (Part 2)
Later that evening Kenny arrives at Roz and Bulldog’s house to help with the reunion arrangements. With Rose resting at the hospital, he has been forced to bring his other three kids along and they cause a ruckus around the house. Alice becomes hysterical when she is unable to control the kids, panicked that she’ll be an unfit mother and the arrangements are once again put on hold. Kenny and Bulldog have a heart-to-heart discussion as they wait for the kids to settle, and Kenny confesses that he is not sure if a ‘married with children’ lifestyle is right for him. Kenny quickly hushes up when Roz returns, knowing full well that she’ll blab everything to Rose. The arrangements get underway once more as Kenny ponders over his future and Roz grows increasingly concerned about her daughter’s predicament.

The day of the third reunion arrives and both radio-themed and Star Trek-themed décor are being put up in the town hall. Roz arrives and gets up to speed on the catastrophe. Realising that she can’t possibly postpone for the third time, Roz is forced to make the most of it and agrees to ‘share’ the hall with Noel and hundreds of Star Trek fans. As they make the finishing touches to the décor, Roz is sorry to hear that Noel and Hayley have split up, but he misconstrues her words as affection and goes in for a kiss. Roz quickly pushes him away, which causes him to fall onto a crate of rare Star Trek collectables, ruining them. Noel panics because he promised the Star Trek film elite that these collectables would be on display, so he and Roz get to work on repairing them as quickly as they can. Gil arrives shortly afterwards after leaving Alice to take care of Nervosa while he is away, but quickly panics about his café when he discovers that she is with child and in a panic-stricken state. Gil spends the entire time worried about it but Bulldog manages to calm him down by getting a few drinks in him. Later, Gil drunkenly stumbles back to Nervosa and orders Alice to leave, deciding to ask his male “friend” to take over. Alice arrives at the reunion, right behind various Star Trek fans who have come to see Noel’s prestigious collection. One of the fans overhears Alice talking to Roz about her pregnancy, and the news spreads like wildfire around the hall. The rumors get wildly out of hand and people are soon thinking that Bulldog is the one who got Alice pregnant. Kenny has soon had enough of the hubbub and goes into a rage, divulging the truth about Noel’s collectables and the father of Alice’s baby, culminating in a mass riot amongst the Star Trek fans. A flare goes off out of nowhere and Chopper Dave steps in, telling everyone that they’ll have to leave. Outside, Roz mulls over another failed reunion, and Bulldog advises her not to attempt another one.

The morning after the third reunion, Gil regrets leaving the café in the hands of his “friend” when he finds it completely trashed. Gil decides that the café business isn’t for him and that he wants to be a food critic again. Gil phones Roz, asking for a job at ATLY, the radio station she now manages but she is caught up in her own problems. Alice has decided that she wants to put her baby up for adoption after it is born while Bulldog has been forced to deal with the aftermath of the reunion down at the town hall. Bulldog runs into Chopper Dave and asks him to put in a good word with the mayor, hoping that the bill for Roz’s use of the hall will be reduced slightly. Dave reveals that he owns the hall and is actually an eccentric billionaire who likes to experience “lowly” jobs for the heck of it, and he agrees to forget about the bill for old times’ sake. Bulldog is so thankful that he decides to announce a fourth reunion to be held at Nervosa, unaware that it is changing hands.

Back at the house, Roz attempts to help Alice by telling her stories of her own pregnancy, which manages to make the situation worse. Kenny steps in to help out and convinces Alice how wonderful kids can be. But Kenny loses all credibility when Rose shows up unexpectedly with their new born baby and he hides behind the couch, avoiding detection. Roz realises what is going on and decides to speak with Rose, however she knows nothing about it and Roz is overcome with guilt, fearing that she has wrecked their marriage. Kenny and Rose confront each other and agree to go into marriage counselling.

Gil is preparing to hand Café Nervosa over to the new owners but begins to have second thoughts when he realises that it has been like a home to him. However, Gil quickly changes his mind after sampling the new chef’s baked goods, re-acquiring his “groove” for criticizing good. Bulldog arrives shortly afterwards to set up a surprise reunion for Roz and the former KACL staff, but the new owners forbid it. Gil rips up the forms and promises that he’ll sign them after the party.

Kenny and Rose run into Noel at the marriage counsellor’s office, who is there with his girlfriend Hayley, trying to work their relationship out. Noel realises his true feelings for Hayley when she gives him her invitation to a cocktail party hosted by Patrick Stewart. Rose tells Kenny that she hopes their own relationship will work out like Noel’s, and Kenny promises that they’ll get through this rocky patch.

The fourth reunion gets underway and, to Bulldog’s surprise, nothing goes wrong. Roz is delighted with the surprise while Alice decides to keep her baby, realising that she’ll have the support of her parents to guide her along the journey. Noel and Hayley are in attendance at the party, donning expensive clothes and a limo. Roz expresses the desire to take a drive in the limo and Noel agrees, but only if Gil and Bulldog come along for the ride. The original four friends; Roz, Bulldog, Gil and Noel, make a toast to the changes in their lives over champagne as the limo drives off into the sunset; a radio tower not too far behind them. 1
