Roz learns that Alice needs glasses and winds up getting a date with the eye doctor, Jacob Young. When Roz learns that Jacob has a glass eye, she feels awkward around him and goes to great lengths to prove that she isn’t that shallow about people’s looks. Meanwhile, Noel reveals that he wore glasses as a kid and tries to solve the mystery of their disappearance, while Gil inadvertently damages a Nervosa customer’s reading spectacles and attempts to get them fixed before he leaves.
