Season 1, Episode 11 - "My Dinner with Eric"
Roz plans a dinner party for station owner Eric Taylor so they can discuss her future with KACL. Roz makes the mistake of telling him that she doesn’t plan to stay at KACL forever and finds herself being shunned by Eric down at the station. Afraid that she’ll be replaced, Roz enlists the help of Gil and Noel to learn the art of ‘sucking up’, but manages to cause the breakup of Eric’s marriage when his wife thinks that he and Roz are having an affair. As Gil and Noel deny any involvement in the charade, Roz tries desperately to fix the marriage before she is fired and blackballed across Seattle.
