| 1. Join your president in setting a
vision of President's Distinguished
for your club by challenging
everyone to earn an education (CTM/ATM)
or leadership (CL/AL) track
designation by June 30.
2. Be a role model by earning an
education or leadership track
designation yourself.
3. Encourage long-time members to
earn another CTM by June 30.
4. Give members incentive awards for
completing their third, fifth and
eighth manual speeches on the way to
earning a CTM or ATM designation.
5. Give a speech in July encouraging
all members to give manual speeches
anytime they speak--in the club and
outside the club (as long as another
Toastmasters
member can evaluate them).
6. Buy a meeting idea book, such as
the District 6 Cookbook, and use a
new idea at least one meeting a
month.
7. Display a set of all advanced
manuals at each meeting to give
members incentive to earn each
advanced designation.
8. Review your club's Distinguished
Club Program updates on the
Toastmasters International Web site the 15th of each month and report
updates to the club.
9. Use the club speech contest as a
time to encourage manual speeches
and get everyone who is eligible to participate.
10. Schedule a guest speaker monthly
to share communication or leadership
topics with the club to add variety
to meetings.
